Our Visit to the Zoo!!

So we visited the Wildlife World Zoo and I am now getting around to posting about it.  My mom actually found a coupon for 2 for 1 into the zoo which is a great deal since it costs $28 a person!!  Thanks Mom!!  If your wanting to find a coupon and live in Arizona then look in the Hickman's Egg cartons.

Jayden LOVED the monkey's!
There were lots of animals to see and unfortunately some animals where harder to see.

Jayden didn't want to go the same way as mommy and daddy so he just stopped and sat on the ground.  Little stinker didn't want to move.  Mommy had the secret "Annie's Homegrown".  I broke out a bag of the organic fruit treats and he came running to sit in the stroller.

Another big favorite was the petting zoo area.  I think Jayden pet, hugged, or kissed every single goat and deer in there a couple times.

And the poor turtles!  He wanted them to move faster so he tried to push them.  And when I told him to touch their feet he thought I wanted him to do his soccer trick and put his feet on the turtle!!  He stood with one foot on the turtle and one on the gound.  I didn't get that picture as I wanted to save the turtle from my child standing on its back.  LOL!!

The aquarium was nice.  We were able to touch some sea creatures and almost touched the sting rays.  They were too deep to reach and too shy to come to the top.  Jayden loved the penquins.  They seemed to love him and the other children too.  They kept swimming up to all the kids.

It was a nice day to go to the zoo!!  We had a really good time.  The only thing I did notice was that there were NO ELEPHANTS at the zoo!?!  What is up with that??  No elephants at a Wildlife Zoo?!?  Weird!

  1. It is still so cold up here in Colorado, it makes me long for a warm day at the Zoo...I am feeling a need to visit Arizona soon! Thanks for sharing!

  2. It is SO cool there, isn't it? We love it there. Bummer that you didn't have success with the rays! We've always been able to touch them (although Brooke and Erik are totally freaked out by it! LOL!).
Glad you had such a good time!
