Bum Essentials Bumbino AI2 Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway from The Baby Store Plus ~ CLOSED

      Additionally, The Baby Store Plus is keeping with the Green theme and have made several changes to the actual store itself, such as:  re-use clean, used packing materials whenever possible.  They are using software that allows them to save documents in data files on the computer rather then printing every invoice, receipt, or other documents that is needed to keep.

Bum Essentials Bumbino AI2 Cloth Diaper:
      Now I get the opportunity to Review the Bum Essentials Bumbino AI2 Cloth Diaper!!  When I received the diaper it was packaged very nicely and wrapped in a really cute hand print tissue paper.  I think the packaging shows how they take care in putting together their packages.   Anna also included a sample of the Rockin Green Soap, which she is doing for all cloth diaper purchases right now.

       Right away I opened up the diaper.  The pad snaps into place on the shell.  This diaper is different in how it snaps in from others I have tried because the snap is in the front.  Others I tried were either in the back or both front and back. With the Bum Essentials you get 1 set of the "Terry Towel" Bum pads.  And the set includes 2 sizes of the bum pads.  Each can be used on their own or you can snap them together for extra absorbency.  The Bum Essentials diaper also has elastic in the front that keeps anything from coming out the top.  If you have a boy then you will love this feature!! The Bum Essentials come in 4 fun colors Rockin Red, Bumble Blue, Giddy up Green, and Sunshine Yellow.  As you can see from the pictures we picked the Rockin Red! 

     I was very excited to get started using this diaper.  So I washed the diaper and put it in my diaper drawer ready for the next diaper change.  Well, it happened again.  My hubby when to change Jayden and out he comes in the new Rockin Red Bum Essentials diaper.  Guess my husband was excited to try it out to.  I asked him what he thought and he said he really liked it.  He loved the big velcro tabs and the softness.  When we put the diaper on there is plenty of room for growth so I do believe this diaper will continue to fit for a long time.

          My second use of the diaper was a short one.  I got it on Jayden and we went to play in the living room and not 10 minutes later I could tell he needed a change.  Jayden always likes to test his new diaper too!  I was a little sad that the surprise Jayden had for me was starting to come out the sides in the Bum Essentials.  But I think that was Jayden and not the diaper.  It was one of those situations that no matter what diaper it was he was going to leak.  It was a very minor leak and didn't cause a problem at all.  

         I tried the diaper again and realized that the previous leak was probably my fault.  I had it in the largest rise setting and that left a slight gap in the legs.  I thought he would need the largest setting seeing how he is almost 30 lbs, but no when I snapped it down once it was PERFECT!  And you can see from the pictures below that the tabs touch in the front so there is plenty of room to grow!

         This diaper is very cute and soft for baby.  I love it.  There are some things to get used to, like when Jayden had his messy diaper and I went to spray it I didn't really want to reach in and unsnap it from the shell.  I washed it still attached and it came out clean.  I just usually unsnap AI2 diapers for the laundry.  It is a great all around diaper for all to use.  I would definitely recommend this diaper to anyone from beginner to experienced with cloth diapers.  Did I mention before that the bum pads are so soft?!?  And you can purchase additional terry towel bum pads and then reuse the shell.
