Stocking Stuffer Tiny Bites ~ Food Shears ~ Review & Giveaway ~ CLOSED

If you have a toddler then you have to get some Tiny Bites!~  I am constantly cutting up Jayden's food.  I am so worried about him choking on a piece of waffle or a chunk of chicken.  I know that I probably cut them even smaller then I need to, but I am just cautious.  Now all this cutting is taking a toll on my plates.  I am too lazy to get out a cutting board and I don't want to wash an extra dish (the cutting board).  So I often just cut his food on his plate, which leaves little marks and cuts in the plate.  But recently I saw Tiny Bites and I was immediately interested.  Tiny Bites offered to send me a sample to try out.
Tiny Bites are food shears perfect for cutting up food.  Tiny Bites Food Shears are BPA-free and do not contain any lead. The handles and protective blade cover are made from ABS plastic. Each Food Shear is 5 1/2" inches in diameter. The cutlery-grade stainless steel blades are 2 1/2" inches long.  I also love the Tiny Bites are dishwasher safe.  And I love that they have a protective cover too!  This makes them perfect for the diaper bag.  We will take Jayden to Peter Piper Pizza sometimes and I HATE cutting up his pizza with the plastic knife and fork on a thin little paper plate.  I love that I can just keep a pair in my diaper bag for eating out.  Tiny Bites come with 2 pair in the package.

Ed and Anila Nitekman designed and created the award-winning Tiny Bites Food Shears because every parent they knew, themselves included, had meal time angst and dinner table battles, regardless of the age of their child. Concern over safe consumption size for an older infant or toddler; worrying what to feed a picky eater; trying to cut meal preparation time in half.
Knowing there was no such product specifically designed for parents to easily and efficiently cut food, especially on the go, Ed and Anila designed and developed Tiny Bites Food Shears with the features they knew would appeal to all parents.     Tiny Bites Food Shears are fun and functional. They allow parents to safely, easily and efficiently cut their child’s food into small pieces to ensure safe consumption. They can easily turn any food into perfect “finger foods”, bite-sized pieces, easy-to-eat strips, fun shapes or sizes.
Tiny Bites Food Shears is a "Winner of The National Parenting Centers - Seal of Approval - 2010".
Their company, Tiny Bites, Inc., is dedicated to developing products to make meal time safe, fun and easy for parents and kids. Their belief is that kids eat more if food is easy and fun to eat.
Ed and Anila live in New York with their two delicious and mischievous toddlers, one cute but lazy maltese and one hungry and hyper-active goldfish.

I tried out the Tiny Bites when we had a pizza for dinner.  I cut it up and they worked great:

In the morning Jayden often likes to eat waffles so I tried it on them.. Wonderful:

For lunch one day I cut up some fish sticks and tater tots:

So far everything that I have tried the Tiny Bites on has worked wonderfully.  I really love these things.  They are so easy to use and they don't crush the food when your cutting like a knife can.  I keep one pair at home and one in my diaper bag.  They are great when out.  I would say that any parent of a toddler this is a must have.  I am so excited to have these now.  I use them daily.  And what is great too is that when you order them online there is free shipping anywhere in the US!!

 Buy it:
  You can get
Tiny Bites a package of 2 for $9.99.  And shipping is free in the US!! You can also purchase at a number of in store retailers.

Win it: One Arizona Mama Reader will win some Tiny Bites for themselves.  Open to the US only. Ends 12/12
