Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!

Today is my husbands Birthday!  Yes he is a new years baby.  He doesn't really like this day as his birthday, but I think its fun.  John is kind of a shy to himself person.  He doesn't like too much attention on himself.  He hates to go out on New Years Eve because right after midnight everyone turns and begins to yell Happy Birthday to him.  He doesn't really like that.  The first couple years we dated we went out, but the last few years we just stay home.  Last night we all cuddled up in our bed for the night.  Our house was so cold, yes in Arizona it was a freeze warning.  And our luck would have it our heater stopped working.  Lucky in the morning we realized it was the heater froze over so just some time with a water hose and its back to warming our home.  But that is not what this post is about.  It is about John my wonderful husband who is turning 4.... well a year older!
John and I met through a friend and I am so grateful for her introducing us.  We have been together for over 5 1/2 years now.  John is a wonderful husband and a great father!  We are blessed to have him in our lives.  Happy Birthday Honey!  I hope this is a wonderful year for you!

 Thanksgiving 2010

Jayden and I decided to make daddy some brownies for his birthday, John is not a big cake fan but he loves brownies.
And yes I have many different color eggs.. my moms chickens lay different eggs.
It was really fun and messy.  I don't have a finished product picture because someone, no names (shhh Jayden), but someone dropped the camera in the brownie batter! But I can tell you they are really tasty!!

Jayden surprised me and when John woke up this morning and walked into the living room he yelled, "Happy Birthday Daddy!"  It is so cute that he is really understanding things more and more each day.

With that I say:
