Sponsor Spotlight *Itzbeen* #ABE2

Becoming a mom is both wonderful and overwhelming.  There is so much to do and remember.  When I brought Jayden home I was so excited and exhusted.  I barely slept at the hospital.  Of course lack of sleep just kept adding up and causing me to forget so much.  I barely remembered when I ate last or slept last let alone Jayden.  I was very overwhelmed and felt like a bad mom.  I was barely keeping up.  Sometimes I would try to write down when he fell asleep or last ate, but often forgot or lost the paper I wrote on.  I really needed a good system to keep up.  Recently I saw the Itzbeen and immediately wished I had one when Jayden was born.

The ITZBEEN Baby Care Timer is a multi-purpose tool that helps you remember the basic details of baby care. ITZBEEN has four timers that count up with the touch of a button…so you will always know how long it's been!

I was sent an Itzbeen to try out and so far I love it.  I don't currently have a newborn at home, but I am hoping I will soon.  The Itzbeen has 4 seperate timers that count down.  Each are designated for a specific activity, changing, feeding, sleeping, and a multi purpose for what you want to use it for, possibly medication.  Each button has a cute corresponding icon to remind you what it is used for.  When you press the button it resets to 0:00 and begins to count up.  You can look and see how long it has been since each activity.  There is a lock button to eliminate accidentally hitting the button and changing the timer.  The Itzbeen has a back light to make reading it in the dark easier and a night light too.   There is a clip so you can attached it to yourself.  I really like that it has a nursing reminder switch to help nursing moms remember which side they last nursed on.  There is also a timer alarm for each timer that you can set to remind you.  It will light up the button and sound an alarm.

I tried this out by timing Jayden's naps and potty use.  It was helpful to remind me that it had been a while since he used the potty.  Also, Jayden tends to take very long naps, which is not horrible, but can cause him to sleep less at night.  I lose track of his nap time because I am busy blogging.  So knowing how long he napped is great so if he goes too long I can remember to go wake him early.  I will definately be using this when our next baby comes.  This is a very helpful product for any new mom, first time or not.  I think the Itzbeen Baby Care Timer would be a great baby shower gift for any expecting moms and dads.

You can get the Itzbeen in Blue, Pink, or Green.  You can even purchase twin packs for twins!  When ordering online through their website you can get Free US shipping.

  1. I love that it has a nursing reminder. I had a hard time remember which side dd nursed on when she was nursing. I don't wear bracelets so that never helped! Wish I had one of these back then! Oh well maybe for the next one! LOL

  5. WOW - I am about to become a NEW MOM and this looks AMAZING!!! I can imagine that once someone gets tired - this would be great to use - as it is simple to use. I think this would also help to establish a good routine. Or to know when things get out of sync.
