Keeping Your Family & Things Safe with Masterlock Safe Space Review & #Giveaway

When you hear the name Masterlock what do you think of?   I think of safety and security.  Master Lock has some tips to help active families stay safe.

1.  Embrace the Key safe.  A key safe will safely store your house key with easy access to your family while keeping others out.
2.  Talk to Your Child About a Home Alone Routine.  Make sure they know what to do when they get home like locking the door behind them and not opening the door for strangers.
3.  Share Schedules.  Make sure everyone knows each others schedule.
4.  Lock Up While On the Go.  Lock up valuables while out and about at sports practice or on vacation.
5.  Stay Safe in the Digital Space.  Use Secure Passwords and Store them Well.

I was sent a Master Lock Safe Space to help my family with tip #4, Lock Up While On the Go.  The Safe Space is a small storage container that can keep your valuables secure while on the good.  The way it works is you put your items inside the container, closer it up, use the cable to secure it to a secure location, and click into place.  The container has a combination lock on it so only you know how to get it open. The cable wraps tightly to the safe or wrapped securely around a fixed object.  The cable can double as a carrying handle.  It has Durable Water-Resistant Construction and Shock absorbing foam lining the interior storage area.  You can set your own combination and it has small access ports for ear buds or charging cables.  The Safe Space is ideal for small electronics like cell phones, cameras, mp3 players, as well as jewelry, credit cards, and money.

After receiving our Safe Space it took me a bit to be able to use it.  Jayden has claimed it as his own.  He doesn't really know what its for, but he loves to put things inside and close it up.  I did put my flip camera and cell phone inside to see the fit.  They both fit in great with some room to spare.  This will accommodate a small camera, but probably not the bigger cameras.  It is really easy to move the combination numbers around and just slightly off and it doesn't open.  The cable is nice that it stays snugly wrapped around when not in use.  It looks into place securely.  There is also a small cover over the combination so it is a little discreet.  I have not had a chance to really use this out and about, but I think it would be great to use on vacation.  I imagine on the beach, because that is where I want to be, that you could always secure it to a chair or ice chest.  If someone wanted to take it they would have to take that larger item and it would be super obvious.  John things the box could be taken and broken into.  I don't know it does seem pretty secure.  Yes, it is small and could be picked up, but that is what the cable is for.  I definitely feel that it is a big deterrent from people taking your things.

Win it:   Would you like to have a Safe Space of your own?  Master Lock is giving 1 Arizona Mama a Safe Space right here.  Just enter in the rafflecopter form below.  Please let me know if you have any problems. Please tweet an hour apart!

I was provided the safe space in order to form an opinion.  I was not compensated in any way.  All thoughts and opinions are my own and not influenced by anyone.
