Jayden is a typical 3 year old ball of energy. He is constantly going and going and going from the time he wakes up until he goes to bed at night. Well, there is a nap in there, thank goodness! I am always looking for things to keep him busy. I noticed that lately he has been jumping on the couch and on his bed. Of course it looks like fun, but I am concerned with falls. After confirming that Hearthsong wanted to be in the holiday gift guide I needed to choose an item to highlight. I knew immediately that Jayden would love the Folding Trampoline.

Now about the folding trampoline. A great outlet for kids' energy, this space-saving trampoline can be folded up and hidden under a bed. Just fold the legs into the heavy-duty nylon mesh base, attach the bungee cords and tuck it away. One of the safest trampolines around, with slip-proof feet; padded covers protect little feet from sliding into the bungee cord openings, and the padded handle adds an extra measure of security. It can be used indoors or outdoors. The bounce mat and finish are waterproof. Holds up to 60 pounds and is recommended for ages 3 years and up.
We received the trampoline and I didn't want to tell Jayden what it was until I knew I had the time to put it together completely. When we were ready to get started Jayden was gitty! As I started to put it together Jayden tried to "help". I had to get John's help with wrapping the cord. The wrapping of the cord was the hardest part. I wasn't sure the cord would go all the way around and if it did I worried it would be off center. But it actually worked out fine with some pulling and tugging. But overall it was pretty quick to put together. And before we could even put the padded cover on Jayden was jumping away.
This has been set up in our living room since the day we put it together. Jayden uses it on a daily basis. Jayden likes to jump around like a little monkey. Lately he has found it fun to put a couple of his ball pit balls on the trampoline as he jumps and watch them bounce along with him. I really like the handle that Jayden can hold onto while he jumps. In case he loses his footing he is holding on and won't go flying across the room. While jumping a couple times he has caused the legs to move a little giving me a scare it will fall over, but nothing has happened. Jayden has not had any friends to the house yet, but I am sure it will be what they all fight over. But lucky if it does become an issue I can just fold the legs up and put it away.
Hearthsong has so many more things I want to get. I could spend all day on their website or looking at their catalogs. I just received one in the mail the other day and I have so many pages already marked.
