2011 Holiday Gift Guide Merry Christmas Thomas! DVD Review & #Giveaway

     Thomas the tank engine is a beloved character by many young children.  Last month Lionsgate and Hit Entertainment released Merry Christmas Thomas on DVD.  We were sent a copy of to review.

     Come ho-ho-home to the Island of Sodor and join Thomas and his engine friends for the holidays in Thomas &Friends™: Merry Christmas, Thomas! releasing on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand October 11, 2011 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment. Join in the festive fun as Thomas, Percy, Gordon and the other engines pick out the best tree, get caught up in the snow and celebrate the holidays in this magical Christmas special. All aboard as Thomas & Friends continues to teach timeless life lessons such as discovery, friendship and cooperation, inviting children to enter a world of imagination through the tracks of a train and the words of a story.

      A little about the movie:  Thomas lights up the tracks in a magical Christmas collection! Climb aboard for adventures and cheer as your favorite engines prepare for a festive celebration.  Help Thomas find the grandest tree on Sodor and then join the Logging Locos as they sing the Misty Island Snow Song in the hope of a winter wonderland.  As the snowflakes fall, Gordon, Mavis, and Percy will take you to the Steamworks for a special surprise party. ‘Tis the season for holiday magic with Thomas & Friends!

Episodes include:
*         “Let It Snow”
*         “Surprise, Surprise”
*         “Percy and the Snowman”
*       "Tree Trouble"
The DVD also includes Bonus Features:
*     The Christmas Gift Express Game
*      Exclusive Snowy fun with Driver Perkins

    Jayden and I watched this movie together.  Jayden was excited to see Thomas and he liked seeing Santa in the movie too.  The snow was very exciting.  Watching the trains all give so much to each other really made it feel like that time of sharing and caring.

  3. Mine is a combo of what Nicole and Marie said... we go Christmas light looking in our pjs and listen to Christmas music. Then we go back to my parents' house for hot chocolate and cookies. Our family is getting so big that soon we are going to have to rent a 15 passenger van so we can all go in the same vehicle! :o)

  14. Our favorite holiday tradition on Christmas is spending time together as a family, enjoying each others company over dinner (my mother's Christmas recipes passed down from her mother).

    This would be a wonderful Christmas gift for my 6 year old nephew, who is obsessed with Thomas & Friends.

    Last year his parents got him a wooden railway and train set for Christmas, so this year this DVD will certainly be a nice addition to his video collection.

    Thank you for offering such a great giveaway!
