Are you a Muppet or a Man? A Man or a Muppet?

The excitement has been building for months now for the release of  "The Muppets." in theaters.  I loved the Muppets as a child.  When offered tickets to a screening of the movie before it released into theaters I had to say yes.  I decided to take my friend Chantel instead of Jayden.  So far Jayden has not gone to a theater and I didn't want a screening to be his first.

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the worlds biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel), and Gary's girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from small town, USA, discover the nefarious plan of Oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theatre and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping ground.  To stage the Greatest Muppet Telethon ever and raise $10 million needed to save the theater.  Walter, Gary, and Mary help Kermit to reunite the Muppets who have all gone their separate ways.  Foozie now performs with a Reno Tribute Band called the Moppets, Mrs. Piggy is a plus size fashion editor at Vogue Paris.  Animal is in a Santa Barbra clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high powered plumbing magnate.  With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, Disney's The Muppets hit the big screen November 23.

I really enjoyed the movie.  It was pretty easy to follow along with the story line.  There are funny parts and more serious parts.  There was lots of singing and dancing as expected.  It drew me in and I didn't want it to end.  One of the major scenes with singing and dancing included Walter and Gary in different houses singing about Am I a Man or a Muppet?  If your at all interested in seeing this movie you  GO!

I was provided free tickets to attend the screenign of the movie.  .  All opinions are my own and not influenced by anyone.  disclosure

  1. I just took Sydney and Russell to see this movie yesterday. As a child who remembers the Muppets beginning, lol, I think it might have had more meaning for me then them.
