Kids Natural Calm Multi Review & Giveaway

For the most part Jayden is a pretty good eater and enjoys his fruits and vegetables most of the time.  but on occasion he will be picky and not eat.  Mostly at dinner he becomes picky.  He has even skipped dinner all together a few times.  Although I know he will eat when he is hungry I still get concerned with his health.  I started thinking about adding a multi vitamin to his diet.  While Jayden was at the dentist recently the dentist warned me not to give him the gummy vitamins.  He shared that they are horrible for his teeth and overloaded with sugars.  But as I looked for vitamins most that are made for children are the gummy version.  Then I was contacted by Natural Vitality Kids to do a review of their Natural Kids Calm Multi.

The Natural Kids Calm Multi is a liquid vitamin supplement that is made just for kids.  It contains 24 fruits and vegetables and Omega-3 DHA & EPA.  It is organic with a fruity flavor and contains only natural sweeteners such as organic stevia and organic agave.  I love the limit of sugars, Jayden doesn't need anymore sugar in his diet just as many kids don't.  Kids Natural Calm Multi includes super-soluble, bioavailable calcium, vitamins, ConcenTrace® minerals, amino acids, and DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol)—a substance naturally produced in small amounts in the brain that supports improved mental focus.  Additionally Natural Kids Calm Multi has a balance of Calcium and Magnesium which are key nutrients that need to be balanced for good health to be fully maintained.  The Calcium makes the muscles contract and the Magnesium helps them relax.

I admit I have not been consistent with giving Jayden the Natural Kids Calm Multi.  It is meant for children 4 and up.  Jayden is only 3 so I have given him less than the dosage on the bottle since it is for 4 and up.  When I first opened the bottle I was not too sure about it.  It has kind of a yucky smell and its a thick orange liquid.  But the good thing is  you are supposed to mix it with juice.  I was a little worried Jayden would not drink it.  But I told him its kids vitamins like mommy's, he always wants mine.  He took a taste as I held my breath and then he drank it all.  I was admittedly a little surprised.  I did take a little taste and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was.  If drinking straight it is chalky, but putting it in juice its not bad.  I often mix it with either orange juice or cranberry juice.

  3. Pesticides can harm your child as much as they hurt insects, leading environmental scientists have discovered. Children exposed either in the womb or during childhood may end up with lowered IQ scores, or ADHD, or other behavioral and emotional problems.
