My Pregnancy Journal Week 11

Happenings of the Harper Household

Week 11

Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden.
She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.

Symptoms:   Still tired and some headaches.  And always hungry.

Weight Gain: another 1 lb.. so 7 total.

Cravings: No specific cravings, just food

Food Aversions: none

What made me cry this week: No crying this week.  I have been as Jayden says, "grouchy."  Poor hubby I jump on him way more than usual. Just tonight I got stern with Jayden, he walked into the living room and John said, "what did mommy tell you?"  Jayden said, "she's grouchy daddy." You just have to laugh at that.

Thoughts from Jayden:  Jayden still believes the baby is in his tummy, but also in mine.  Jayden lifted my shirt to see my tummy and looked at my belly button.  He saw the hole where it was pierced (took it out with my pregnancy with Jayden and never put it back in) and he said, "Hey wait a minute!  What happened mommy?"  Jayden was also in time out the other night and when I went to talk to him he had opened the door to the spare room (will be the baby's room).  I told him close the door he is not supposed to be in there.  He said, "its Kenny's room." (My BIL that lived with us for a few months, Jayden always refers to it as his room)  I said, "no its going to be the baby's room soon."  He looked at me and said, "its not Kenny's room no more.. its for the baby?"  You can tell he was processing the whole idea that the baby will have a room.

Something I am excited about:  My Doctor Appointment on Thursday.  :)

In case you missed it read My Pregnancy Journal Week 10.
