Educational Insights Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game Review & Giveaway

Educational Insights is the manufacturer of some fun products that have high educational value.  Their products include subject-specific classroom products, teacher resources, educational toys, and games.  All their products are made with Education and fun in mind.  I was recently sent the Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game to review.

Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel Game is for ages 3-5.  In the game the squirrel is hungry and you need to help him collect acorns.  The box is used as part of this game so you spread the acorns on the tree (in the box).  Then by taking turns you spin the spinner, depending on what you land on you either pick a specific color acorn, your choice of color, steal an acorn from another player, or lose a turn.  You have to be the first to fill your log with acorns.  There are 5 colors and your log needs an acorn with each color.  The fun part is to pick an acorn you use a very cute pair of squirrel tweezers.

This game has lots of educational value.  The game includes the need to take turns, identify and match colors, and fine motor to squeeze the squirrel and pick up the acorns.  The pieces in this game are very high quality.  The acorns and the squirrel tweezers are made of very quality plastic.  It looks and feels like they will be difficult to break, which is great for young children.

We opened up the game to play as a family.  Jayden loves games so he could not wait to get started.  It took only a single try for Jayden to use the squirrel tweezers to pick up the acorn.  Jayden was able to identify the colors he needed to complete the game.  This was a simple and fun game for all of us to play.  Up to 4 players can play at one time.  This game is really good for encouraging fine motor and taking turns.  The game requires no reading skills to play.
