Gorton's Seafood Fishermans Friday Review & Giveaway *3 Winners*

Jayden LOVES fish sticks.  I know he loves them so much, but I don't like to buy just any frozen fish sticks.  I want something good.  I often reach for Gorton's when shopping.  I was recently sent some coupons to get some Gorton's fish.  I decided to try something new.  I really wanted to make some fish tacos.  I really had not made them before.

So I started with the Internet looking for some ideas.. I checked out the Gorton's site for fish recipes.  I found a bunch and a few for fish tacos.  I really wanted to make it with a red sauce so I took to looking a little more on the Internet.  I was able to combine a few recipes and make my own.  Well sort of.  I am not one to do this so it was an experiment.  I went shopping and got the Gorton's Signature Grilled Tilapia.  I picked up all the other items on my list.

I set out to make fish tacos for John and I.  Jayden had fish sticks.  It was real easy to put the fish on a small piece of foil in the oven.  I made the fish according to the directions on the box.  When they were done I put together all the ingredients including my homemade white sauce.  I put them all together and they looked so yummy.  John tried one first and was pretty impressed.  I was happy to make something he liked.  I tried my tacos and they were very tasty.  The taste of the Gorton's Signature Grilled Tilapia was very good.  I was so happy to try this and will make this again and again I'm sure.  They were easy and tasty.  The only thing is I would have purchased more of the Tilapia, because there was not really enough for all the tacos John and I wanted.

Gorton's has a variety of fish and seafood products available.  Many of their items have a resealable zip bag to seal in the freshness.  This is great for when you want to use only a small amount and save the rest for later.  They even have a new Gluten Free line of products.

Win it:  Three (3) Arizona Mama readers will win 2 Gorton's Free Frozen Seafood Item coupons each.
