Spring Fever: *Sponsor Spotlight* Motherlove Pregnant Belly Oil

Pregnancy does many things to a woman's body.  Stretching of the belly and skin is of course the most obvious.  Stretch marks are almost a given for most women.  When I was pregnant with Jayden I was told don't worry too much about stretch marks, they are often hereditary.  So if your mom got them you likely will and if she didn't then you were lucky and you would not either.  My mom did not have stretch marks so I was supposed to not have any.  Well, that didn't work out for me.  I went up to like 7 or 8 months and the stretch marks just appeared.  I had not been doing anything to prevent or limit them in any way.  So this time around I want to be a little more proactive to limit the marks.  I was happy to receive a bottle of pregnant belly oil from Motherlove.

Motherlove is a herbal personal care and supplement line specifically designed for pregnant and breastfeeding women.  Motherlove goes to great extents to be sure the products they use are certified organic and certified cruelty free.  Motherlove strives to do what is best for mothers and their babies as well as what is best for the environment.

The pregnant belly oil is a natural luxurious oil to nurture a pregnant mother's body and to prevent stretch marks as well as relieve the itch of stretching skin. It is made with certified organic herbs that are known to soften skin and prevent scaring.  Pregnant belly oil is perfect for daily moisturizing all day long.  It is scented with lavender and chamomile.  The pump makes it easy to use.  Motherlove's pregnant belly oil has a zero rating (zero toxins) on EWG's skin deep database.

I have used the pregnant belly oil many times.  I really like the pump as it makes it easier to apply to my belly.  The oil is of course an oil, but not overly greasy.  The belly oil goes on nicely and only a little goes a long way.  The lavender and chamomile scent makes me pretty sleepy.  I have mostly used it at nights right before bed because of the scent.  It does make me pretty sleepy.  So I keep it on my nightstand and use it prior to falling asleep.  It has helped to keep my skin soft and possibly limit the stretch marks.  I have some from Jayden that are popping up, but they are not real thick and possibly have faded.  I will continue to use this oil on a regular basis.
