American Baby Bests Awards Boppy (More Then Just For Breastfeeding) Pillow Review & Giveaway

     It is time to vote in the American Baby Bests Awards.  There are so many great baby products out there.  One of the products I love and recommend to all new moms is the Boppy Pillow.  And Boppy is in the running to be picked for Best Breastfeeding pillow, but they need your vote.  Let me tell you a little about why you should vote for Boppy.

     Boppy actually started as a way to help support infants that could not sit up on their own.  It grew into being a great support and breastfeeding pillow.  The Boppy pillow is a large C shape pillow that fits perfectly around any one's mid section.  Then baby can be supported by the pillow as mom helps baby to latch and breastfeed easier.  And this is just the start to the many uses of the Boppy pillow.  Not a breastfeeding mom?  Not to worry I still highly recommend getting the Boppy pillow.  Some of you may remember that I previously talked about Jayden being tongue tied and not able to latch.  Well I became a full time pumping mom early on.  The Boppy pillow became a must have for both myself and my husband.  By placing the Boppy pillow around your waist and laying baby across the pillow you can easily hold the bottle for baby.  Honestly it makes bottle feeding so much easier.  The baby is easily supported and mom, dad, or whoever is feeding baby doesn't end up with sore arms.  This is what my husband LOVED about our Boppy with Jayden.  He was surprised how much easier it was to feed Jayden.

     Boppy can also be used to support an infant that is not yet sitting on their own.  Jayden was very curious as an infant and wanted to see everything.  By using the Boppy he was able to sit up and see more.  We also used the Boppy for a little tummy time to help support his upper chest.  And as he has gotten older the Boppy his been handy as a pillow to use when watching TV.

     Boppy sent me one of their Luxe line of pillows.  I received the Heirloom Lion pillow.  This cover is a soft minky material that is soft to baby's touch.  It features a super cute lion applique that offers baby a little sensory.  The slip cover easily zips off and can be washed in the washing machine.  There are so many cute Boppy slipcover prints you will want to keep a few extras on hand while washing.  Although this cover is so soft and luxurious you may want to quickly replace it after washing.  The lion is adorable and the back of the cover is a fun coordinating print.  I absolutely love this pillow and print.  I can't wait to use this new Boppy with baby boy when he is here.
