Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.. From BabyCenter
Random Thoughts: I think this baby boy is going to be a wild one. He likes to rise early and starts kicking around 4 or 4:30 most mornings. Plus he likes to be up late dancing around. He is a little party animal. I am starting to realize how quick this pregnancy is going and how little I have done. With Jayden I already had his room mostly set up already. I have items, but nothing set up so far for baby. When John gets home I really want to get the crib put together. This will help me see how the room can go and I will order the dresser/changing table. Then I can get started on arranging and getting things we need. I know the crib isn't necessary right way, but I know with Jayden here it will be good for baby boy to have a room to nap in that can be closed off.
Symptoms/Medical: Sleepy once again.. but some due to not sleeping well. I have had some minor back pain.. I am not looking forward to this. With Jayden I had horrible back pain. I have also had a few leg cramps.
Weight Gain: NONE! yay .. 24lbs over all.
Cravings: Ice cream... Red vines
Food Aversions: Nada
What made me cry this week: Don't think I cried this week. It has been to crazy busy to stop and cry, lol!

Something I am excited about: Still excited about baby stuff. I received my Mamaroo and some fun maternity shirts. I can't wait to get the baby room started.. but it will be a couple weeks with John out of town. This weekend Jayden and I will be participating in Walk With Me to raise money for children with disabilities so that should be fun.

ReplyDeleteYou look amazing. Seems like Jayden is going to be an awesome big brother!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet that Jayden is already thinking about baby brother!
ReplyDeleteI love your bump pic! You are looking great!!!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love preggers bellies! You look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute pregnant. I hope you don't experience the same pain you say you had in your back as you did with Jayden. That is a horrible thing! My daughter had no leg cramps, nothing at all during her pregnancy...I had everything with mine. Glad for her though. Keep posting us some pics of how great you look and have fun organizing the babies room.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute that he is ready to share (for the time being ha ha ha)! I enjoy reading your pregnancy journals, knowing that I am not going to have any more. It will be a great thing to be able to look back on :) I think with the second you're never as "prepared" as you were with the first. As far as nursery, hospital bag being packed, etc. At least for me it wasn't. I was still packing the hospital bag a few days before baby #2 (planned/repeat c-section). With baby #1, the bag had been packed and ready to go about a month before I was due, not knowing that it would end up in an emergency c-section.
