Vitafusion Prenatal Gift Basket Review & Giveaway (4 Winners)

     As many of you know I had actually been trying to get pregnant when I did.  So since I knew I was trying I was already taking a prenatal vitamin daily.  Prenatal vitamins are so important for mother's to be to take and give their babies the best nutrients as well as themselves.  There are so many different brands of prenatal that it is hard to know what is good.  I will have to admit that I would just buy the cheap store brand.  I figured a vitamin is a vitamin.  But that is not always the case.  Some vitamins have more of the nutrients needed for fetal growth and development.  I was recently contacted by Vitafusion for a review opportunity.  I had not tried these before so of course I said yes.  Vitafusion sent me a very cute gift basket with Vitafusion Prenatal gummies and Vitafusion Calcium.  The gift basket was so cute I almost didn't want to open it up.  In fact I took the basket and set it in Jayden's bathroom with all his extra shampoo, body wash, and bath items.  It looks so cute, I just could not throw it out.

     The Vitafusion PreNatal Gummy vitamins contain the necessary supplements needed during maternity.  They are a gummy vitamin so they kind of remind me of gummy candy.  They have natural colors and berry, lemon, & cherry flavors.  They contain Omega 3 DHA, Folic Acid, and much more.  These gummy's taste good, kind of like sweet candy.  I know some people have a hard time eating sweet things when pregnant so these may not be good for them, but I love anything sweet.  I was actually using these for a bit before I realized that the serving size is 2 gummies.  I guess I should read labels.  Also, the bottle these come in is BPA free.  Each serving, so 2 gummies, has 20 calories, 4g of carbs, and 3g of sugar.

     The Vitafusion Calcium are 500 mg gummy vitamins.  They have natural colors and a creamy swirled fruit flavor.  Two of these equal the amount of Calcium in a 6oz glass of milk and the amount of Vitamin D3 is equal to 3oz of salmon.  A serving size of 2 gummies equals 25 calories, 6g of carbs, and 5g of sugar.  These gummies are a little larger then the Prenatal ones.  These are also pretty sweet with the gummy candy and sugar coating.

     I honestly look forward to taking these each day.  They give you a little sweet kick when you need it, but also the vitamins and nutrients needed to maintain a healthy pregnancy.  And as the little gift basket set they are a perfect gift for the pregnant mama in your world, or if your trying to conceive.  Vitafusion also carries a whole line of vitamins for men, women, and children.
