Just For Baby Giveaway Hop Sponsor Spotlight *Lansinoh*

One thing that I knew when I first became pregnant with Jayden was that I wanted to breastfeed him.  I just knew that was right for him and I.  Unfortunately, he was tongue tied and it made it very difficult.  I didn't want to give up at all.  I kept trying and trying.  And I just ended up with sore breasts since he could not latch properly.  So I switched to pumping his milk.  This was both a blessing and a burden.  I no longer has the soreness, but I had to spend all this extra time pumping.  But that was a sacrifice I had to make for my baby boy.  This time around I am really hoping baby boy will be easier to breastfeed.  There are some great products from Lansinoh that helped with breastfeeding Jayden and I know will help with baby boy too.  Lansinoh has sent me some great products to share with you.

The first product I received was the Lansinoh HPA Lanolin.  The Lansinoh HPA Lanolin is the leading product to help soothe and heal sore cracked nipples.  It is endorsed by the La Leche League.  It is 100% pure natural lanolin and is safe for both mom and baby.  So when using it you do not have to remove it before breastfeeding again.  This stuff is great.  I used it when Jayden tore up my nipples while trying to latch.  It really does help to soothe and heal quickly.  And a little secret that I found is that it helps with diaper rash too and even better it is cloth diaper safe.  I am happy to have Lansinoh HPA on hand for when baby boy gets here.

The next product I received was the Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags.  These are priceless and so necessary for working moms or moms that plan to pump milk.  I shared that I ended up exclusively for Jayden.  That meant lots of milk storage.  I would transfer all the milk from the pump into these bags.  They are 3 Mil thick and leak proof with a double zipper seal.  They are pre-sterilized medical grade milk storage bags and 100% BPA free.  These bags are perfect for safe storage of breastmilk.  The bags can be frozen.  The bags also have labels on the side so you can see how much is in the bag if you wanted to measure out a certain amount of milk.  Since I was feeding Jayden all pumped milk I would fill the bags up.  When storing them in the freezer it is reccomended that they are laid flat.  This makes it easier to defrost too since they are not too thick.

The third item I was sent from Lansinoh is the TheraPearl 3 in 1 Breast Therapy.  This is an item that I did not have with Jayden, but I wish I did.  These are reusable, non-toxic packs that can be used cold or hot depending on what you need.  They can be used for a number of issues like pain, swelling, engorgement, blocked ducts or mastitis.  They can also be used to encourage let down while pumping.  I am really looking forward to using these while breastfeeding baby boy.  I remember how sore I was with Jayden, plus since I will be pumping too for the sitter then having something to help with quicker let down will be great.

Are you currently breastfeeding, planning to soon, or know someone that is?  I would highly recommend Lansinoh products to help.

  38. I absolutely love the breastmilk storage bags! They are double sealed zip lock which ensures no leaking and when you freeze the milk you can make it so they are flat which means more storage room in the freezer! I also got to try the HPA Lanolin cream at the hospital when I had my daughter, another amazing product! I don't think this company could make a product that wouldn't please!
