I knew from before getting pregnant that I wanted to breastfeed baby boy. With Jayden I really tried, but being tongue tied his latch just never worked. Many of you know I continued by exclusively pumping for him. I am determined this time to breastfeed. And with breastfeeding comes a few needs. I admit I am still learning about all that is needed since my first go round did not go as planned. One thing is for sure I have heard from everyone that nursing pads are important. As I looked around I found that there are many options. When I prepared for breastfeeding with Jayden I got some of those disposable nursing pads and lucky I didn't really need them. They are not comfortable at all. Who really wants to wear plastic disposable pads in their bra daily? So I began looking at reusable nursing pads this time around. My thought was reusable and being made of cloth would be more comfortable, more economical, and environmentally friendly. I had seen Bamboobies and they looked too cute to not check them out. I know cute does not mean much, but it helps. I was happy that when I contacted Bamboobies they were happy to send some for review.
Bamboobies are organic bamboo velour nursing pads. They are made from super soft bamboo and certified organic cotton velour. They are ultra absorbent and have a milk proof outer layer. The Bamboobies are heart shaped to better cup the breast. This helps to eliminate lines in your bra. How great is that, eliminate leaks and lines. Bamboobies come in pale pink, hot pink, or black. You can also get regular or overnight. Like I said above I don't have much experience with nursing pads which also means I have not experienced many brands. But after trying the Bamboobies I'm not sure I want to experience other brands. These are so soft, absorbent, and I love that the shape eliminates lines. They are almost sexy even.
Bamboobies also sells Overnight nursing pads, Bamboob*ease Therapy Pillow, and nursing cover.
Buy it: 2 Pk Regular or Overnight Nursing Pads $16.99
Win it: One (1) Arizona Mama Reader will win a $16.99 Code to purchase their own Bamboobies.
