We had to put down my cat. Her name was Misty and she was about 17 years old. I have had her forever! She was a sweet kitty that loved attention and sleeping with me. We believe she had a tumor and was in pain. She was also losing her hearing and sight. John took her down while I was at work so I didn't have to be there. I still keep expecting her to jump out and rub her face on me for attention. I will miss her dearly. I'm glad she is in a better place without the pain.
So sorry about your kitty.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. Our family has had our Jack Russel for 16 years and he's now in acute renal failure so I fully understand losing a pet it seems you've had forever. Losing this family member is painful so I hope your wonderful memories with her will keep your thoughts happy.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your kitty :-( i am not looking forward to the day i have to put my sacha down..
ReplyDelete(((Hugs))) I too dealt with this a few years ago when I had to put down my beloved cat, Faline. My SIL got upset but she had lost the use of her back legs and couldn't make it to the litter box. She was 21 years old - I still sometimes expect to hear or see her sitting on one of my books.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about Misty :( losing a pet is hard :(
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, never easy to lose a pet.
ReplyDelete17 years is a long time to have a pet, so I am sure it was really hard to lose her. I'm so sorry! :(
