All For Baby: Lamaze Pond Symphony Crib Soother Review & Giveaway


     Lamaze has a full line of infant toys that engage babies while providing parents peace of mind.  Lamaze toys are developmentally appropriate and exceed consumer safety standards.  I was recently sent the Lamaze Pond Symphony Crib Soother for baby Evan.  I was excited to try it out because I didn't have anything like it for Jayden.

     The Lamaze pond symphony crib soother attaches to the side of any traditional or convertible crib.  Evan's crib has a large rail on top and it still fits around it.  The pond symphony crib soother plays 3 classical melodies or soothing nature sounds.  You can also customize it and hook up your MP3 player to play any music you want.  The colorful lights turn on and off along with the music to keep baby engaged.  Baby can reach for and touch the ladybug to begin the lights and melodies playing.  This is great for cause and effect.  The crib soother is soft and colorful and encourages baby in a tactile exploration.  You have the option of setting the lights, sounds, or both.  The volume is adjustable and has an automatic shut off.  This is geared toward babies from birth and up.  It includes 3 AA batteries.


     I attached the Lamaze Pond Symphony Crib Soother to the side of Evan's crib.  I was happily surprised that it fit even though the sides of his crib are fairly large.  I put Evan in his crib and turned him to look toward the soother.  I turned on the music and lights.  Evan just stared at the soother and enjoyed the music.  Jayden wanted to get in Evan's crib so he can see the soother too.  He wants one of his own in his bed.  I think the Lamaze Pond Symphony Crib Soother will be great as Evan grows and it gives him some soft melodies and lights to enjoy while in his crib.
