When I got pregnant the first time I had so many questions. Everything was so new to me and I wanted to know everything. I read so many books and asked so many questions to those around me. I am sure I was driving people crazy with my questions. This second time I didn't have as many questions, but still had questions. There is always more to learn. I have found the best people to ask are those that have been through it all so other moms.
A recent survey by Huggies found that 78% of new moms and expectant women search for information on pregnancy at least two hours daily. And about 71% of expectant moms wish there was a single source to go to for all their baby information. I know I used the Internet, forums, books, and spoke with other moms to get information. In response to this survey Huggies has introduced the Mommy Answers Forum on their facebook page. This is a one-stop destination for expectant and new moms. It pulls together information from top pregnancy and baby sites across the web. It is completely searchable for topics your interested in.
The categories are:
* Signs of Pregnancy
* Mom's Body Changes
* Baby Development & Due Date
* Ultrasounds & Sonograms
* Baby Names
* Maternity Styles
* Baby Gear
* Baby Registry
* Baby Shower
* Preparing the Nursery
* Hospital 101
* Labor & Delivery
* Welcome Home, Baby
* OR you can ask the Huggies Facebook Community
In addition to putting all the great information on Huggies Mommy Answers in one place Huggies has designed an infographic with some fun statistics and facts about life as a first-time mom. I don' t know about you, but I enjoy reading statistics. Did you know that 67% of new moms will announce their babies name for the first time on facebook? And 87% of moms went to he hospital at least once before going into labor. I announced Evan's name on facebook after I told most people close to me, but not until he was born. I never went to the hospital until in labor or to be induced. I worried I would end up at the hospital when I didn't need to be.
I was sent a really fun Huggies New Mom Survival Toolkit as part of this promotion. The New Mom Survival Toolkit includes:
