Babies need things to entertain them and stimulate their little brains while awake. Evan has had more awake time lately. Since he is awake more during the day I have started to add in some fun entertainment activities for him. One of his favorite wake time activities is to play on his Gymini Tiny Love Nature Pals.
The Tiny Love Gymini My Nature Pals is a multi function playgym for baby. Some of the features include a baby activated take-along Lights & Music Caterpillar, smart motion system, and sliding rings. You can easily move the toys along the arches. This is great to help position the toys in babies reach. Baby's love to reach and bat at hanging toys. Putting the toys within their reach makes for much more fun play time. The arches can also move and make it easy to convert the playmat into a fun tummy time mat and puts the toys in front of baby instead of above him. Some of the included toys are a beaver rattle, frog rattle, colorful teether, mirror, and bead rattle. The mat itself has a peek-a-boo dragonfly, crinkly beaver tail, squeak frog, and 2 extra loops to attach your own toys. There is even an extra sliding ring to attach another hanging toy of your own.
The gymini is colorful without being over stimulating. The Lights & Music Caterpillar features a leaf shaped teether and has 2 setting with an on or baby activated. I can set it to baby activated and whenever Evan hits or kicks it then it will come on for a short time. Evan is still a little small for this option, but he will be kicking and moving around and accidentally activate it. He doesn't really know that he made it happen, but its fun when it does. When Jayden was little he had a similar item and he learned to kick just the right way and make the music start. I can't wait to see Evan figure this out and do the same.
When I put Evan on the Tiny Love Gymini My Nature Pals he moves and kicks around and bats at the beaver and frog. He smiles at the toys as they bounce around. Evan also has explored the mirror and loves looking at himself in the mirror. This gymini mat has so many fun activities for a baby and beyond. I like that it can be changed around to be more of a tummy mat by using the smart motion system. You can even remove (by unsnapping) the arches and just use the mat for baby to play on. This playmat can last for quite some time of babies early months and year. It was also really easy to set up. I received it at the same time as Evan being a bit fussy. I decided to set it up to see if it would help him to calm down. I held him in one arm and set it up with the other hand and it worked. I had it set up in minutes and Evan was exploring his new toy. Jayden loves to lay with his little brother and play in the mat too. Jayden tries to show Evan how to explore the toys, but mostly Evan just watches.
Tiny Love has a great variety of great baby toys and gear. The Tiny Love Gymini My Nature Pals playmat would make a great baby shower gift. The mat is gender neutral so its great for a boy or a girl. Also, check out my review of the Tiny Love 3 in 1 Rocker Napper.
