2012 Holiday Gift Guide Peaceable Kingdom Feed the Woozle Game

Games make great gifts.  Jayden is a big fan of games.  But as Jayden enjoys playing games he has also become somewhat competitive.  I don't want it to be about winning so I was happy to find out about Peaceable Kingdom.  Peaceable Kingdom creates fun, fresh, and educational products for kids.  Peaceable Kingdom has many cooperative games like Feed the Woozle.

Stone Soup Cooperative Board Game GM104

Feed the Woozle is a preschool skill builder cooperative game with silly snacks and mixed up moves.  Woozle is the name of the big mouth and he is hungry.  Try to feed him 12 silly snacks from the spoon before all the snacks are gone.  Playing and working together is a part of all the fun.  Roll the dice and add that number of silly snacks on your spoon.  Then you get to spin the spinner and move toward the woozle as the spinner tells you to.  But be careful and don't drop the silly snacks.  If you can feed the Woozle 12 snacks then everyone wins!  Some of the skills learned are body awareness, fine and gross motor skills, counting, taking turns, and working cooperatively.  This game is for ages 3-6 with 2-5 players.

This game helps to encourage kids to work together and feed the Woozle to keep him from being hungry.  Kids work together, learn together, and help each other.  Cooperative games eliminate stress, build self-esteem, and teaches kids that playing together can be fun!  Cooperative games are where all players work together against a common obstacle.  So they are not competing against each other.  No one feels left out or unsuccessful.  Everyone has fun learning together.  Peaceable Kingdom has many fun cooperative games, board games, card games, and more.
