The Caboose Too Ultralight really does the work of 2 strollers in one. It can easily be used for children that are young and close in age or for children with an age gap like mine. The stroller can be used in many different ways. It has an infant seat attachment so you can put an infant car seat on the front for an infant. You also have the option of 2 full size reclining seats which is perfect for young children close in age. And actually even works for my children with an age gap because sometimes Jayden wants to sit back and relax too. As children grow and want a little more independence there are more options with the back seat. You can remove the "too" seat which leaves a ride on rear bench seat and standing platform. So your older child can sit on the rear bench seat facing backwards and even has a seat belt. Or they can stand on the platform and hold the handles for an easy on and off ride.
The Caboose Too Ultralight is compact and lightweight. With the stroller in "Stand-On" mode it weighs just over 21 pounds and with it in "2 Full-Seat" mode it is just over 23 pounds. With this stroller being so lightweight along with its small footprint it is surprisingly very maneuverable. It has a nice large canopy that can be moved forward and back to give shade where needed. The front seat has a 3 position recline. There is a large storage basket underneath with side pockets. Other features included the linked parking brakes, ball-bearing wheels, all-wheel suspension, the car seat adapter, parent organizer and the full-size removable rear seat. The removable rear seat can accommodate a child from 6 months to 45 lbs. The seat reclines and includes a 5 point harness. The front seat will accommodate a child from 3 months to 45lbs. The total child weight the stroller accommodate is 90 lbs. That is pretty good since I know Jayden tends to stop and stay at a weight for a long time. I think we will be able to use this stroller for a long time.
I really like that there are so many ways to use this stroller. I was a little surprised when we first used it that Jayden liked the full back seat. I thought he'd prefer to stand or just the small sit spot. But he really liked that he could sit behind his brother, although he liked to reach over the seat and touch Evan's head. Although Evan didn't mind, he loves his brother. Evan really liked that the stroller has a front tray. He loved banging on it and having something to touch. Its perfect for when out and about and giving snacks when he is ready for them. It even has a little indent circle for a sippy cup to help it stay upright. The stroller has a large storage basket underneath it. There is plenty of room to hold all those extras you need when out and about with multiple children. The basket also has pockets on the side for even more storage. This is great for items you want to grab quickly. The parent organizer can be used or removed easily. It holds up to 2 beverages and has a zipper pocket. I love the zipper since I will often put my cell phone, camera, or keys in the parent organizer and by zipping it they won't fall out and get lost.
This stroller also has an infant seat attachment. It is easy to remove the front tray and replace it with the infant seat attachment. I don't use an infant seat with Evan, but I did with Jayden. Those things can get heavy and the stroller that Jayden's came with was really hard to push. I really like that you can add an infant seat to this stroller and have room for an older child too. I pulled out Jayden's old infant seat just to try this out with Evan and it works great. I have a friend with a baby boy about 4 months younger then Evan. I love that if we wanted we could take just this one stroller while going to the zoo or on any outing together. The baby can sit in the front seat, Evan can sit if the back seat, and with such lightweight children I think Jayden could even stand on the back as he gets tired of walking. Now I want to take the kids to the zoo and try this out. I really like the freedom this stroller gives. I don't have to carry everything on me and I don't have to worry about Jayden getting tired and wanting to take the baby's place in the stroller.
Another thing I really like is the maneuverability of the stroller. It is easy to navigate and move around. It doesn't feel heavy or hard to push. The brakes are easy to use and keeps the stroller from getting away when engaged. One thing I was a little worried about was folding it up and how much room it would take up. I was happy that it is super easy to fold and unfold. And once it is folded it is not super bulky as I expected. It is compact with and without the back seat attached. It fits nicely into our van too.
This stroller is great for anyone with more then 1 young child. Joovy also has many other great products. I hope to be able to share some of them with you all very soon.
