Learning Resources ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card Review & Giveaway

I'm so excited for this years new products at Learning Resources. There are so many great products for 2013. When I was asked which I'd like to review I admit it was a hard choice. There were quite a few I really wanted for my boys and to share with you all. So thinking about Jayden getting ready for Kindergarten I though I'd start with the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card.
Boost alphabet and early number skills on the go!

The ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card has 4 different fun games. The game is portable and hand held with 3 batteries. There are two games for the alphabet and two games for numbers. For the alphabet your child can match the uppercase and lowercase letters or find the missing letter in a series of letters. And for numbers your child can find the missing number in a series of numbers or count the dots. Also with the count the dots your child can practice recognizing the number without physically counting the dots. Each game lasts for a minute. The game gives a sound when incorrect and a different sound when time is almost up. When the game is over it tells you how many you got correct. The game gives two choices to choose from.

Jayden started with the uppercase and lowercase ABC match game. He had fun racing to see how many he could get right. Jayden knows his letter pretty well, but it was a great way to keep on top of those skills. Jayden then tried the counting dots. This game was also pretty simple and fun. Jayden was able to identify the many of the numbers without counting. When it came to the missing letter and missing number game Jayden had to think a little more. Since Jayden has learned the letters in random order he had a little harder time putting them in order for the game. The by having 2 choices for the numbers he was able to decide based on the numbers given and was correct most of the time. Both of these games help to make the Electronic flash card a challenge for Jayden.

I really like that the ABC & 123 Electronic Flash Card has some simple refresher games and some more challenging learning games for Jayden. The hand held game is perfect size for his little hands and easily fits in a bag for on the go. This is a great little game for a pre-kindergartner to prepare for Kindergarten.
