I love taking pictures. I take pictures of Jayden and Evan constantly. I have been dreaming of getting a really nice DSLR camera, but that is not what this is about. Anyway, I take so many pictures and then I need a place to store them. They get downloaded onto my computer on a regular basis. But once they are on my computer I worry about them getting lost. I have had two different major catastrophe with my computer and pictures. One of my computers before the boys were born crashed. It just completely crashed and all my pictures were lost. I actually still have that computer in my closet with hopes to someday get them (I know probably a lost cause). But I'd love to get back photos from when John and I were dating. My second catastrophe was when my house was broken into and my whole computer was stolen. I was completely devastated at that point. The computer can be replaced, but all my pictures were gone. That computer contained Jayden's first couple years.
This is where the Picture Keeper comes in. The Picture Keeper is a USB device that is embedded with the software to protect pictures. It is really simple how it works. You just plug it into your computer and the software will automatically find all the pictures on your computer and save them. It really is that easy. Then all you do is remove the picture keeper and keep in a safe place. I know in different emergency situations such as a fire or robbery pictures are the precious items that are most missed. If you have your photos kept on a Picture Keeper, then keeping it in a safe place will help you to preserve those photos and memories. Below is a video that shows you how it works.
The Picture Keeper comes in different sizes depending on how many photos you want it to hold. There are some easy step by step directions to determine what size picture keeper you need based on how many photos are already on your computer. Of course more is always better because you know your not done taking pictures. But if your Picture Keeper becomes full all you have to do is get a new one. When you plug in the new one it already knows which have been saved by the first Picture Keeper you don't have pictures double saved.
As I mentioned above if you make a purchase at Mailpix then you can get one of these picture keepers free (just pay shipping). And if you purchase a Picture Keeper then you get a free 4X6 Brag Book from Mailpix.
