I was given the opportunity to try one of these new products.  When given the choice I had a really hard time picking something.  I finally settled on the Wolf Handpuppet & 3 Little Pigs.  I am a huge fan of stories and I love fairy tales.  Props can really bring a story to life.  Jayden has loved the story of The Three Little Pigs for some time now.  It is one story that he can repeat by heart.  This set comes with 3 houses, 3 little pig finger puppets, and the big bad wolf hand puppet.  Each piglet wears a shirt that matches their house.  The piglets easily fit inside their houses as the big bad wolf comes along and blows their house down.  And when you're done playing all 3 houses and piglets easily store in the wolf for safe keeping.  The set is made for ages 3 months and up.

I originally thought this would be really cute and fun to use for story telling with the boys and that Evan would love it.  But Jayden didn't give him much chance.  The moment I pulled it out Jayden was all over it.  He even stopped playing his wii video (literally put down the remote) and came to play with the pigs and the wolf.  He set up the houses and put each pig in their house.  Then he had the wolf blow down the first two houses as the pigs ran house to house.  Then he tried to blow down the brick house and it didn't work. Evan wanted to play, but Jayden was not really wanting to share.  He felt this was a toy for him.  I like the way these puppets bring the story to life for Jayden and will continue to for Evan.  The pieces are all soft and cuddly.  I also like that they are all safe for Evan too.  So these puppets are great for both my boys even with their difference in age.

The HABA Lilliputiens toys are really cute and I'd love to have more of them.  I love toys that can continue to be useful for many years.  This Wolf Hand Puppet and Three Little Pigs set will definitely get many years of use.  And by the fact that it can be used by such a young age it will continue to be useful for my boys for many years.
