Learning Resources Preschool Pop Games Bundle Review & Giveaway

I was provide the below mentioned product in exchange for my honest review.

I'm back with another great product from Learning Resources. They have so much to offer I just can't help myself. With Jayden going into Kindergarten this next school year which is less then 2 months away... ack! I wanted to help him prepare and brush up on some of his skills. Learning Resources sent me the Preschool Pop Games Bundle to help.
Preschool Pop Games support key kindergarten skills
The Preschool Pop Games Bundle is a set of 4 different, but similar games. Each game has the same rules, but a different learning objective. These are all 4 simple fast pace games. Each game comes in its own canister filled with 80 small cardboard pieces that relates to the learning subject and pieces with the word pop on them. The games are all simple. The players take turns spinning the spinner and depending on which number they land on they will pull that many cards from the canister. They would then identify what picture is on each card and put them in their pile. If the player pulls a Pop card then they lose all their collected cards. The player with the most cards at the end wins.

The 4 games include colors, shapes, counting, and rhyming. A couple of these are a little on the easy side for Jayden since he already knows his colors, shapes and numbers. But there is a little more challenge by adding not only identify the color, but the item. So we would say yellow duck instead of just yellow. Not a big difference, but it made it a little more. Jayden is really into rhyming lately and likes to find things that rhyme so this one is really fun for him. While playing these games Jayden often wants to find the pop card because he thinks its funny. He also likes to peek inside the canister before picking his card. We have fun playing these games and using them in different ways. At first we were putting the cards back in the canister when we got the pop card, but found that meant the game would go on forever. So when we get a pop card now we set aside all the cards taken into a discard pile. That way the game goes on, but not forever.

I really like that the Preschool Pop Bundle has some great review activities as well as challenging items for Jayden. I feel like these games are helping him to be ready when Kindergarten starts. The cards are sturdy and will last a long time. The canisters are not to large and easily store everything in one place. This is another great learning bundle from Learning Resources that will help my child be ready for and succeed in school.
