Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with Tillamook Ice Cream and Yogurt in Arizona

I was provide the below mentioned products in exchange for my honest review.

July is National Ice Cream Month.  That's right we get a whole month to enjoy Ice Cream.  Last year I was introduced to Tillamook cheese during a fun Loaf Love tour at the Phoenix Zoo.  I realized then that Tillamook cheese is so good.  So when they contacted me to let me know that Tillamook Ice Cream and Yogurt are now available in Arizona I was excited to try it all out.

Tillamook came to be after several small creameries in Tillamook Valley teamed up and formed the Tillamook County Creamery Association to ensure the quality and reputation of cheese made in Tillamook Valley.  Tillamook is owned and operated by the same people that work the soil, milk the cows, and make the decisions about the future of the company.  All of the farmer-owners have farms that produces milk for the co-op.

When I received a package from Tillamook I was excited to jump right in and try some.  Of course the first thing we tried was the ice cream.  We received Oregon Strawberry, French vanilla Bean, and Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream.  I asked Jayden which he'd like to try first.  He wasn't sure, but decided on the "white kind" the French Vanilla Bean.  So I scooped him a little in his bowl.  I then had to try some myself, but I wanted to dive into the Tillamook Mudslide.  After I prepared my bowl and sat down Jayden came to me with his bowl.  He asked for more.  I said only one bowl.  He then noticed mine.  He asked me for a taste and so I was nice and shared, but just a taste.  Jayden then said, "I should have got that one mommy."  Now he did not forget about the ice cream and he asked for some again the next night.  We don't keep ice cream in our house all the time, but Jayden was very happy that we had these cartons.  And to be honest so am I.  John even had some, he is not one to eat much ice cream, and was very impressed with how good it is.  The Oregon Strawberry has chucks of strawberry through out it.

I was also sent four kids of yogurt, Oregon Strawberry, Marionberry, French Vanilla Bean, and Mountain Huckleberry.  The yogurt is very creamy and flavorful.  It has chucks of fruit for a great taste.  The yogurt went really fast.  I love having a cup of yogurt as part of breakfast or a snack.  Jayden also likes yogurt and was trying to eat up all the yogurt before me.  Needless to say we really liked it, I think the Oregon Strawberry is my favorite.  I was also happy to see they have a light version of their yogurt.

Now we are out of Tillamook yogurt and getting low on ice cream.  I am happy that I can run up to the store and now find the Tillamook brand in the freezer or refrigerator section.  There are many more flavors that I can't wait to try like Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Grandma's Cake Batter, Strawberry Cheesecake, Fireside S'mores, and more.  Ok so now I want some ice cream.  I think I will go get me a dish while the kids are sleeping... yum!

Find out if Tillamook is sold at at grocery store near you.  Connect with Tillamook on facebook and twitter.

You have to hurry for this, but Tillamook is hosting a Treat Yourself to Tillamook contest.  You can enter here, but hurry because the contest ends July 16, 2013
