Display Your Child's Name in Art with NameArt Review & Giveaway

I was provide the below mentioned products in exchange for my honest review.
 Name Gifts for Kids
When I was pregnant with Jayden we went back and forth on names.  We finally narrowed it down to a couple.  And actually up until about a month before he was born he was going to be Ethan.  I loved that name, but also loved the name Jayden.  I was torn with which to go with.  We finally ended up with Jayden because his initials are the same as John's and my step daughter Jessica's, JLP.  I know as a parent you always wonder if picked the right name for your child.  I didn't want to make a mistake and have him hate his name.  But lucky for me Jayden loves his name.  He has actually loved his name for as long as I can remember.  Every time we said his name even as a baby only a few months old he would smile and get so happy.  He loves telling people that his name is Jayden.  To him his name is perfect.  When I was offered the opportunity to try NameArt I knew Jayden would love it.  I mean who wouldn't love their name as a piece of art, especially when you love your name like Jayden does.

NameArt is where you can transform any name into a fun and functional piece of art.  The website is really easy to use as you create your art work.  Jayden and I sat together to create his NameArt.  When creating your NameArt you have choices of Themes and then within those choices you can choose different looks for each letter and different colors. Jayden wanted the Monsters theme.  He went through and picked different looks for each of this monster letters and wanted different colors for each letter too.  Each letter has 2 looks available and 5 colors to choose from.

After we finished Jayden's he was more then happy to help me make Evan's name too.  He decided that Evan needed the Teddy Bear Theme.  And again there were 2 options for the letters and 5 choices for the color of the Teddy Bear.  We decided that the bear would be an alternate of blue and brown.  After we finished creating our NameArt we were able to choose from all the products to add the names to.

When we received the box Jayden was so excited to find his name just the way he made it.  He pulled it out and pointed to each letter as he said it on all the items.  The place mat is large and perfect for his spot at the table or for keeping his materials in one area.  I really like that all the letters of the alphabet line the edge of the place mat.  This gives us the opportunity to use the place mat for even more learning opportunities.  I can ask Jayden to find the letter T and tell me the sound or any letter to extend his learning.  Children learn from what they know and want to know.  Since Jayden loves his name he is happy to learn from his name and expand out.  The Name bar is probably Jayden's favorite item.  He set it up in his room on his dresser.  But often I will find it in his bed as he is looking at it.  He likes to hide it under his pillow.  I love that the name bar comes with a stand to display it.  The stand makes it look a little more elegant.  Now that he will be in Kindergarten the bookmarker will be great for when we are reading together.

The set also included a name print.  I love the size of the name print.  I am currently in search of the perfect frame for this print.  I want to frame both the boys names and place them up on the door or wall of their room.  I really feel like the more they see their name and it is more accessible to them the more they will learn the letters and how to write it.  Since Jayden received his NameArt he has been more interested in writing his name.  The baby is still a little too young to really know his name, but that does not stop me from pointing out his name and identifying the letters for him.  He loves to scoot around the house with the place mat.  I had to take the name bar and put it up for him because he wants to bang it and I don't want it broken.

I really love the NameArt products and feel like they are fun and educational.  My only complaint would be that there is limited characters.  None of the characters really fit with the boys room decor.  Jayden has sports and Evan has monkey/jungle.  I'd love to see more choices of themes.  When my box arrived Evan's name bar did have a very small chip on the front side.  I contacted the company and they immediately got back to me.  They are sending out a new name bar to replace it.  He also asked for pictures so they can see where the damage was done so they can better package the name bars to prevent any future issues.  I really think this was just a random coincidence.  I am very happy with the customer service and their attention to details.
