Back 2 School Bash 2 : Go Green Lunch Box Sponsor Spotlight

I was provided the below mentioned products in order to provide a review.Go Green Lunch Box

There is so much to think about and decide when your little one starts school.  Something that is really important is lunch.  Parents need to decide if they will use the school lunch system or pack a lunch for their kids.  I think there are perks to either so we will likely do a combination of both.  I want to be able to pick which items Jayden will eat at school.  So by following the school lunch menu I can decide which days he will buy lunch and which days I will pack him a lunch.  Now comes in the question what will I put his lunch in.  I do not want to be wasteful with a paper bag every day, that is just not environmentally friendly.  So that means getting a lunch box.  There are so many to choose from.  But I have found that many have very little room unless you go with the huge ones and that is just too much.  While looking around the Internet I found Go Green Lunchbox.  I was immediately intrigued.  I contacted them and they were happy to send Jayden a Go Green Lunch Box for review.

Go Green Lunch Box sent Jayden the Varsity Set.  The set includes the insulated fabric carrier, a five compartment food container with lid, and a bottle that will hold 8 oz of liquid.  You can get the carrier in many great stylish pints.  It is all leach and lead free.  The carrier has a pocket on the inside, perfect for holding napkins and utensils.  It also has a small white board for writing messages.  The food container has a turn n' lock technology that ensures the food will stay fresh and the silicone bands ensure a leak proof seal for all the five compartments.  The water bottle is BPA free and 100% stainless steel.  It will hold over 8 oz. of liquid.

Jayden was very excited to get his new lunch box.  I really like all the different compartments.  It helps to hold many items.  The lid fits tightly to help keep the food from spilling and fresh.  The handle also has a tag for writing your child's name and room.  That is great because I found out that at the beginning of the day they send all the lunch boxes over to the cafeteria to wait for lunch.  I also really like the silicone bands to ensure that it is leak proof.  So I can put some applesauce or pudding in one of the compartments and it won't spill into another compartment or all inside the bag.  The lid is not dishwasher safe since the silicone bands can't go in the dishwasher.

I really like that you can purchase replacement parts individually.  If you lose the lid to the water bottle then you can buy another without just trashing it or you can buy a second full container if you wish.  If you in need of new silicone bands then you can purchase them on their own.  I love this since things tend to get lost in our house.

Go Green Lunch Boxes are available online and at select retailers.

  3. Wow, they sure have come a long way since I was in school! We just had paper bags or a bit metal box with nothing to help keep things in place. Sometimes, it would be all jumbled together!
