Educational Insights The Sea Squad Puppets On A Stick Review & Giveaway

I was provided the below mentioned products in order to provide a review.

When Jayden was about 2 1/2 years old I took him to see a puppet show at the library.  He loved it so much.  He sat there so still just watching everything.  He was clapping along and loving it.  He was not happy when it was over and time to go home.  Ever since then he has loved puppets and puppet shows.  When Educational Insights sent me The Sea Squad Puppets On A Stick set I just knew Jayden would love them.  I was right he was so excited to start a puppet show.

The Sea Squad Puppets On A Stick set includes 4 puppets, an Angel fish names Flipper, An Octopus names Dipper, Chomper the Shark, and Bob the Clam.  Each puppet is a soft mold.  There is an easy to use child size lever to help the puppets to open and close their mouths.  And on the bottom of the stick there is a small knob that can also work to open the mouths of the puppets.  These puppets are very well made and are sure to last a long time.

Jayden was immediately excited to try them all out.  He quickly wanted to set up a puppet show so he could put on a show for Evan and I.  He didn't really know what to say, but had fun just babbling along with the puppets.  Evan really loved these puppets too.  They are not technically for his age range, but he loved watching them and taking them.  When I made a puppet talk he would either grab it away or try to kiss it.

I really like the imagination that these encourage.  Jayden enjoyed have a fun conversation with his daddy through the puppets.  Puppets can say anything.  Jayden noticed that the shark has teeth, but the others do not.  This has started a conversation about what animals have teeth and what can they eat if they don't have teeth.  It has been fun thinking about it and just coming up with silly answers together.  Also, check out my review & giveaway of the GeoSafari Jr. Animal Eye Viewers.
