Last month was car seat safety month.  I didn't get a chance to post about it, but didn't want to miss sharing about this great new product.  Safety 1st recently came out with the BoostAPak Booster Seat.  The BoostAPak Bel Position Booster is a travel car seat that converts into a backpack.  This backless booster is for 40-80 pounds.  It has a durable plastic shell and a patented fold out seat belt guides.  The cover is removable for easy cleaning.  This booster seat is perfect for car pools, travel, and more.  It folds up easily to fit in the overhead compartment on planes.

With Jayden starting Kindergarten there are times he needs to be picked up by someone other then John or I.  We both have the 5 point harness car seats in our cars.  A couple weeks ago I had to work late and John was scheduled late at work.  So we need help to get Jayden from school.  My mom offered to help, but she doesn't have a car seat in her truck.  So instead of taking his regular backpack to school that day Jayden took his BoostAPak.  It held all his schoolwork and materials he needed for the day.  And at the end of the day when my mom picked him up she was able to easily convert it and use it as a booster seat.  My mom has not had to install a car seat or booster seat in years.  Well, honestly I was her last in a car seat and back then they were much, much less safety driven.  I was happy the BoostAPak has instructions right on the seat.  My mom said it was really easy to install and they were on their way quickly.

I really like how easy this is to use.  The sides flip up easy and click into place to guide the belt in the correct position.  Jayden says its is comfortable and he really likes that he can put things in the backpack.  The BoostAPak is so versatile and great for so many situations.  Jayden is starting a new school next week and there will be a few days that I will need help with pick up.  I like knowing that he will ride safely in someone else's car with this booster seat.  So if you just need an extra seat for your child to ride in the car pool or are going on vacation this is the perfect seat this seat is great and the price is great.

  1. I will have to consider this when my son gets old he doesn't weigh enough for a booster yet.
