{Never} Wordless Wednesday ~ Winter Concert & New Glasses

Last Friday Jayden had his Winter Concert at school.  It was the Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms.  The Kindergartners sang 4 songs, then the 1st Graders joined them and they sang 2 songs together, then the Kindergartners left so the 1st Graders sang their 4 songs.  The concert was great!  They did a really good job.  I am so proud of Jayden and his whole class.  Jayden was coming home singing the songs everyday so I know they practiced lots in music class.

And on Thursday (the day before) we got Jayden's new glasses.  I will have to tell you about that when I have more time.  But Jayden now wears glasses and I think he looks adorable!

Somehow Jayden was lucky to be front and center.  So I was able to get a little video and some pictures of him.  At one point before the Kindergartners left they allowed parents to come down and take pictures.  I got this shot of Jayden.  It wasn't easy since the little boy directly behind Jayden is also named Jayden.  His mom was on my right and we both kept saying Jayden look at me.  I think the boys were a little confused for a moment.

  1. OH MY GOODNESS! What a wonderful flood of memories this brought back to me. 20 year old memories...hard to believe that it can still seem like yesterday. Jayden is one super cute ~ handsome young man!

  4. Seeing this reminds me that we had no invitation from my nephew's kindergarten class for us to attend their Christmas concert. In fact, basically nothing for the holidays. So unusual since my grandson had many things parents were invited to. And seeing Jayden in his little glasses, my grandson wears them as well, since he was 3. I think they look adorable on them

  5. We were always traveling for the concerts at church so my boys never got to be in them. Your son looks SO adorable with those glasses! It's always so fun when they're front and center. =)
