{Never} Wordless Wednesday ~ Holiday Re-Cap and Happy Birthday to My Hubby

I just wanted to share some of our favorite moments from the holiday.  First for Christmas Eve we went to my brother in laws house.  John actually had to work, but came after he got off.  The kids had a great time opening gifts and playing with their cousins.  There is a huge range in age of cousins... funny thing is John is the father to the oldest and the youngest.  Jessica his daughter is the oldest at 26, then there is Aaron, Austin, and Cody who are all 17+.  Then the younger cousins join with Jayden and Tanner 5, Ava and Kayla 4, and Evan at 16 months.

Then after Christmas Eve fun we woke up on Christmas day and the boys found lots of gifts under the tree and even a couple that were too big to fit under the tree.

My mom and grandma came over and we had a quick breakfast before opening even more gifts.  My mom made each of the boys these adorable pillows.  As you can see Evan loves his monkey.  Now she needs to make me one too.

Jayden was super happy that his great grandma got him an art easel.  He was so excited he jumped up and into her lap on the couch thanking her.  I knew he wanted one, but did not realize how much until this.

John and Jayden were excited to play with their Air Hog Helix.  They flew it inside and outside.

This Fur Real Cat Daisy was actually given to Jayden, but don't tell Evan.  He thinks it is for him.

And it is safe to say he loves that thing.

And no Christmas would be complete without a new pair of pajamas from grandma.  The boys actually wore them on New Years Eve too.

And last but certainly not least I have to wish my wonderful husband a very Happy Birthday!!  Today, January 1st is his birthday.  He is not a fan of getting much attention, but I can't ignore it.  I'm sad he had to work today, but look forward to celebrating more this weekend when he is off.

  1. Awww, so sorry he had to work on his birthday but so neat he is a New Years Baby! Have a great weekend together and hope he has an awesome birthday!

  2. Wow, looks like you had a great time! Your brother-in-law's kids' age range is amazing! My boys would love that Air Hog! Happy New Year!

  3. Looks like you all had such a great time. My daughter is 20 and my son is 4 so I am in a similar situation. Happy New Years to you and your family. My son would love the basketball hoop thing. We had one but the net broke.

  4. Cute photos, your children are beautiful!

  5. Great pics! Thanks for sharing with us. If your mom isn't too busy I wish she would make me one of those monkey pillows too. Have fun celebrating hubby's birthday this weekend!
