Reduce Water Filtration Pitcher

I was provided the below mentioned product in exchange for an honest review. Reduce Everyday

Living in Arizona I drink lots of water.  I leave my house each day with a large water bottle and refill it throughout the day.  The problem is getting access to clean water is not always easy.  I prefer to refill my bottle rather then buying lots of bottles.  At my previous job we had water coolers on each floor of our building.  But with my new job that is not the case.  I started looking into different types of water filter systems so I would not have to bring lots of water bottles to work.  I was happy when I was offered the Reduce Water Filtration Pitcher.  I could not wait to take it to work and try it out.

Reduce Water Filtration Pitcher has a 4 stage filter process to provide great tasting water.  Stage 1 uses micro netting to trap sediment and large particles, stage 2 uses ion-exchanging resin to remove lead, cadmium, copper, mercury, and aluminum, stage 3 uses silver activated carbon to remove chlorine, chlorine taste/odor and residual pollutants, and stage 4 uses micro netting at the base to provide a final filtration to any sediment or large particles.  The pitcher is dishwasher safe, BPA free, and works with Brita and Pur filters.  The pitcher itself is made from naturally bacteria resistant stainless steel.  It has a clear view refill alert window so you can see how much is left and when you need to refill.  The lit is a simple flip top that can be left open while refilling.  It has a fingerprint finish and an ergonomic handle.

I took this into work to try it out.  When filling it up you have a certain amount that it will hold while making its way through the filter.  It is about half the amount the pitcher holds.  The filter takes a little time to filter the water through.  I usually fill it up, walk away to do some things and come back to fill it a second time.  Then I put it in the refrigerator as it finishes the second fill.  I am loving having this at work.  I use it to refill my personal water bottle multiple times a day.  Also, since starting the preschool class I am filling a larger water jug for the kids.  This helps to filter out the yuck in the water and give them cleaner water to drink.  I love how easy it is to use and how nicely it fits in the refrigerator.  My students have used it while filling the kids water jug and they all have commented on how great it is.  They all want to refill their bottles in my classroom too.  The water tastes great.  I really like that it easily fits Brita and Pur water filters making it easy to replace filters.  So far I have not had to replace the filter, but I like knowing that I can find one easily with more options.

If your in the market for a water filtration pitcher I highly recommend this one.  I have had plastic ones in the past and this one is far superior.  It works great and I don't have to worry about the plastic breaking.  Reduce also has some great water bottles for adults and kids.  I love all the fun designs.  I may have to look into a couple for the boys and myself.

  1. I could absolutely use one like that. We're on well water and it's so gross. We have no filter in our fridge so we're constantly spending money on water bottles, which I hate. Since we don't have anything, this is a perfect place to start.

  3. I was thinking about getting this for work but was unsure. After your review I will definitely be ordering one. I have some Reduce water bottles for the kids and my hubby has a hot/cold one and we haven't had any issues with them. I love when they are on Plum District. I like the bacteria resistant stainless steel and the clear view window. Being pregnant I go through so much water at work.

  8. I currently use three water pitchers to filter my nasty L.A. tap water. This one is a great item to try out. Some cities around me have to ration water too.

  9. I love the fact it goes through 4 stages of cleaning your water out. I hate tap water and can only drink filtered water.

  10. I didnt think water got much worse than that of Maricopa Az, until I moved to Rifle, CO. I will not drink the tap water here. will defenitely consider this as an alternative.
