Revolution Foods Meal Kits are Convienent and Healthy #sponsored #mc

I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Revolution Foods. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

My life is busy as every moms is.  I have 2 boys that keep me busy as well as a full time job away from home.  So since I am not with my boys during the work week at lunch time I pack their lunches.  I pack Jayden's for school and Evan's for the baby sitters house.  It is not always easy to find a variety of options as well as healthy options.  I especially have the hardest time with Jayden.  He takes his lunch to school and it sits on a shelf in his classroom until  lunch time.  So I can not send items that spoil easy or items that need to be heated.  When I heard about Revolution Foods Meal Kits I was immediately interested.

Revolution Foods Meal Kits are a convenient way for kids to eat meals with natural, high quality ingredients.  There are no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.  Each kit contains at least 7 grams of whole grains.  Revolution Foods is a company that was founded by two moms.  They ignited a healthy food movement in schools nationwide.  There are 4 different Revolution foods Meal Kits available. Turkey & Cheddar, Ham & Cheddar,  Cheese Pizza, and Peanut Butter & Jelly.  These meal kits can be found at Safeway stores nationwide and other retailers.

Jayden and I went to our local Safeway store to pick up a few of these meal kits to try. We were easily able to find them, but they only had 2 of the kits available, Turkey & Cheddar and the Pizza.  I had 3 coupons so I let Jayden pick out which would be the 3rd one.  He of course chose the pizza.  So we left with 2 pizza kits and a turkey & cheddar kit.  Jayden was excited to try them.  He is already out of school so I am not packing his lunch for school, but he is going to the baby sitter while I work a few extra weeks this summer.  So Jayden decided to try the pizza kit first.  He took it to the sitters house for lunch.  I was not there while he tried it, but he and the sitter both told me he didn't like it that much.  He couldn't tell me why other then it didn't taste like he likes it.  I was disappointed to hear he didn't like it.  But he really liked the fruit snacks.

A few days later he tried the Turkey & Cheddar meal kit.  This time he tried it t home.  This kit was his favorite.  He loved the Turkey!  He also liked the crackers.  He was not a big fan of the cheddar, but it is not  cheese he likes much in general.  I tried the cheese and it was really good and tasted fresh.  Jayden didn't let me try the turkey cause he wanted it all.  He said it his and its sooo good.

There are a couple of things I like about the Revolution Foods Meal Kits.  First I really like how convenient they are, for a busy mom that really helps to be able to just grab it on the go.  I also like that they are healthy with 7 grams of whole grains in each package.  And the most important thing is that I like that Jayden likes them and will actually eat them.  I am interested in trying the kits that my store did not have in stock when we went shopping.  I know Jayden will love those, he loves peanut butter & Jelly and he loves ham.

  1. I have been waiting for a product like this! Those Lunchables were just appalling! I'm glad this company came out with a healthier alternative, that is still convenient to pack for field trips and quick meals-on-the-go. Thank you for reviewing this product! : )
