Back to School: Apparel n Bags Gemline 5340 Impulse Backpack

Going back to school means school supplies.  One thing that pretty much all kids need for school is a backpack.  They need something to carry their supplies and homework to and from school.  I have mentioned before that Jayden's school is pretty strict on supplies and apparel.  One of the requirements is that backpacks must be a solid color with no graphics on them.  It is not always easy to find a good backpack in a solid color.  There are tons out there with cartoon characters and prints, but not so many solid.  Plus I want Jayden's backpack to have a side pocket that can hold his water bottle.  He takes one to school each day.  When Apparel n Bags was interested in a review and I searched their website for the perfect backpack for Jayden.  I found one that I thought would do the job.

The Gemline 5340 Impulse Backpack comes in 5 solid colors.  The backpack has adjustable padded shoulder straps and a top grab handle making it more comfortable to carry.  It has a large zippered main compartment and a front zippered pocket with organizer.  It has a side mesh pocket perfect for holding a water bottle.  It has a front D-ring for keys.  It is made from polyester with a honeycomb accent.  It is a one size bag.  It is perfect size for an elementary school child.  You can have a symbol or name embroidered onto the front of the back.

Jayden picked a black backpack.  The bag holds quite a bit of materials.  Jayden is able to carry his homework folder, calendar, school supply box, and water bottle easily.  It fits on his back well.  He is able to put it on and off easily.  I like that the bag easily expands as more room is needed, but is not too bulky.  The water bottle sits in the mesh side well.  It is nice that it doesn't fall out like it did lots last year.

Check out Apparel n Bags for many great backpacks, computer bags, apparel, and more.  They have lots of great stuff for back to school and year round.  They also offer a discount for many things if you buy multiples.

Thank you to Apparel n Bags for sponsoring the review

  1. That looks like a great backpack. My boys both like getting backpacks, although they really don't need them in elementary school. They just want them because all the other kids have them.
