Back to School Learning Resources Snap n Learn Alphabet Alligators Review & Giveaway

I was provided the below mentioned products in order to provide a review
This year back to school included Evan starting at a toddler preschool class.  I will admit that I was pretty nervous for Evan to start school.  He is barely 2 years old, and actually when he started it was about a month before he turned 2.  Jayden didn't do preschool until he was 3 and he was only going a couple days a week for a few weeks with my friend.  Evan's is all day, everyday.  But that nervousness went away pretty quickly.  Evan didn't take long to adjust to the classroom.  He loves going to school with his friends and his teachers.  He loves to learn and play.  Evan is now at the perfect age to start learning so many things.  One thing he is showing interest in is letters.  For some reason he likes the letter B and will point to letters and tell me its B.  Seeing his interest grow I was happy to received the Snap'N'Learn Alphabet Alligators from Learning Resources.

There are 13 brightly colored alligators.  Each alligator has a capital letter and a lowercase letter on either the head or tail section.  Each alligator snaps together and apart easily.  They are double sided so there is a letter on each side of the alligator.  They can be used to match up the letters (capital to lowercase).  They can also be used for color matching, fine motor skills, or making a pattern.  They are made from a thick plastic.  The small piece that is used for the alligators to attach to each other is surprisingly softer.

When Evan received these he was excited to get them open.  He handed them to me and kept pointing to the top.  He immediately dumped them all out on the floor.  He began putting them together.  He would just grab any piece, not paying attention to the letters or the colors.  He just wanted to make the alligator, which is great for building his fine motor skills.  Now Jayden wanted to join the play, but he had to be sure all the letters matched.  He was not happy with Evan's matching skills.  Jayden is a bit of a perfectionist.  But matching is a skill that Evan will get to.  This is for 2 years old and up and Evan just turned 2 last month.

I love the learning value of these fun alphabet alligators.  They are colorful, fun, and interesting for my toddler.  Even my 1st grader enjoys playing with them.  I like that this comes with a reusable container to keep them all in.  Makes it easier to keep them all together.  The only thing I don't like is that they are double sided so there are only 13 with 2 letters for each.  It would be nice if there were one for each letter.  Although it would be more difficult to keep track of them all if there were more. Learning Resources has so many great fun and educational toys and games.
