We had a great time yesterday at the Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival performance.  It was a bit of an adventure to start with.  I waited for my mom to get to my place since she was going with me since John had to work.  She got there a little later then planned so we hurried on our way.  The whole time I was worried we were late.  For some reason I had it in my head it started at 10 am.  Of course I was wrong.  We get there and there is hardly anyone around.  Come to find out it doesn't start until 12 and the doors do not open until 11.  So needless to say we had a couple hours to waste.  We made the most of it by getting a drink and some treats for the boys at the Carl's Jr at US Airway Arena.  And we learned something new, you can purchase a drink for $1 at Carl's Jr and take it inside since it was purchased there, that is way cheaper then the $4 drinks inside the doors for half the size.  So we scored there.

When the doors did finally open we found our seats.  And found we had really good seats.  The boys were excited for it to start.  Of course Jayden wanted either popcorn or cotton candy, but with the prices of $12-$15 I said no.  When the show did start the boys were ready.  At first Evan was a little scared with the lights down and it was a little loud.  But when he saw Mickey Mouse he got so happy and was yelling and waving, "Hi Mick My Ouse."

The show started with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.  They begin to play some non-conventional instruments and before you know it the Genie from Aladdin is there.

Aladdin and Jasmine make an appearance too.

The show has many surprise guests including Ariel, Woody and Buzz (Jayden's favorite).  There was lots of music, singing, and dancing.  Jayden even jumped up to dance along while Evan danced in grandma's lap.

The show was definitely worth the wait.

And while we were leaving we got flyers for upcoming shows, Jayden is excited about the Super Hero show coming in March.  Hope we will be able to attend that one.

Check to see if Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival is coming to your town soon.
