Leap into Learning Fun with #LeapTV #MommyParties #Spon

I was provided the below mentioned product for review purposes

Today was a fun day at our house.  We were so lucky to have a Leap Into Learning Fun MommyParties with the LeapTV.  We love Leap Frog products in our home and could not wait to share this great new game system with friends and family.  Jayden and I had to try it out earlier in the week and knew it was going to be a fun time.  We received the LeapTV game system along with 2 games (Leap Frog Sports and Leap Frog Dance & Learn).

When our party guests arrived Jayden was ready right away to show everyone how to play each game.  The kids were all very intrigued by it.  We started out with the soccer game.  After picking which number shows in the line up of numbers the players were able to block the soccer balls from going in the goal.  The kids loved this game and to be honest I think they were excited about being on TV.  They all kept walking in front of the camera even when it wasn't their turn.  Next came the Karate chop game.  They had to karate chop the shapes.  I think this was a favorite game for sure.  The boys loved it.  The girls will still working on figuring it out since they were not sure on the shapes, but they worked together.

Next we decided to try some of the games that require the remote control.  My nephew loved the skateboard game.  He had a fun time collecting the coins and doing some tricks.  My niece got very intense while she was playing this game.  I think she was determined to beat her brother.

The last game they played was the baseball game.  This was lots of fun.  Jayden is really good at this game.  He made a great score and even made a triple bonus.

Needless to say we love this game system.  Jayden can't wait to try some new games.  He saw they have a Spiderman game and really wants that one.  I guess it will be on his Santa wish list.  I think this will be a hot toy this holiday season.  We really loved this game system.  I love that it has 3 ways to play, remote, stick, and video.  The game really does require you to move and get some exercise while having fun.  There is also lots of learning built in with identifying shapes, next number in line, adding and subtracting.  You can set the level for up to 4 players.  So it makes the level for my 6 year old and can be different for my 4 year old nieces.  The only thing we found is sometimes it does not alway get the motion from the players and it takes lots of trying when in video mode.  Also, with the video mode on you have to watch who is on the screen.  Since our TV faces the couch if anyone is sitting on the couch it may get motion from those people behind the player.  Those are minor things in my eyes and we love this system.  I can't wait for all the use we will get from it and the family fun.  Yes, I like to jump in and play with my boys too and so does my husband.

  1. I love this idea! It would make me happy to see my kids playing this rather than the PlayStation. Will have to show my husband for Christmas. :)

  13. Looks like they are having so much fun. Leap seems to be similar to a Wii? In terms of the movement? I like games with a bit of exercise included.
