2014 Holiday Gift Guide Silver Dolphin Books #HGG

I was provided the below mentioned product in exchange for this post.

Books are always a great gift.  Books can be enjoyed at any age.  Jayden is reading now, but still loves to have mommy and daddy read to him and Evan just thinks he can read.  We read books every night before bed.  So we like to have a nice good variety of books available so we don't have to read the same book over and over.  Both Jayden and Evan will be getting some books this year at Christmas.  Silver Dolphin sent a couple of books to put into the Holiday Gift Guide this year.

The first book was Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Pop-Up Book. This book follows the classic tale of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and is the 50th Anniversary edition.  The story follows the reindeer as  he is made fun of and leaves to the island of misfits along with his new elf friend Hermie.  The pop ups are colorful and intricate.  They really help the book come to life.  After we received this book I sat with boy my boys and we read the book.  They both loved the story and were amazed with the pop ups.  We had to read real slow so we can see everything in the pop ups.

Silver Dolphin also sent the Junior Builder: Rescue Vehicles.  This book is made with a hard cover.  It comes with model pieces and reusable stickers.  I know my boys will have a great time with this book.  What little boy doesn't like tractors and building.  I know they will have a good time with this book.

Silver Dolphin has so many great books to capture the interest of just about anyone.  Books are a great gift.

  1. The pop out book looks like a lot of fun, my older boys would enjoy that. I like giving books for Christmas - my toddler has got quite a few board books under the tree this year.

  2. My kids love pop out books. Believe it or not, despite the fact we have shelves and shelves of books, we don't have Rudolph yet. I'll have to pick one up.
