Varekai Cirque Du Soleil in Arizona #‎Varekai‬ ‪#‎CirqueDuSoliel‬ This Weekend

Wednesday night my husband and I were able to get away and see Cirque Du Soleil.  I was so excited to see the show.  I have seen a different Cirque Du Soleil show when they were in town before and it was breathtaking.  I could not wait to see this show.  We got there nice and early to find out seats.  Our seats were great.

The show was amazing.  The story was set in a mystical forest with a volcano.  When Icarus falls from the sky he begins an extraordinary adventure with fantastical creatures all around.  There is mystery, intrigue, and amazement.  The things that everyone can do is amazing.  Swinging from a thin scarf, twisting their bodies in different positions, flying through the air from swing to swing.  There is just so much that takes place.  The costumes were both colorful and interesting.

Some of the acts included Ariel hoops, Ariel straps, Georgian dance, Hand balancing on canes, Icarian games, Russian swings, Slippery surfaces, solo on crutches, and much more.  The characters were so very detailed with their costumes and their personalities.  The music included a 7 piece band and 2 singers.  Their voices were beautiful.

If you haven't see the show yet there is still time.  They will be in town through this weekend.  I highly recommend seeing this show!  It was truly breathtaking.  As compared to the last show I saw from Cirque Du Soleil it was just as amazing and wonderful.  Last time when we saw the show it was in a tent at the University of Phoenix Stadium.  As far as venues goes I liked the tent a little more.  It was a bit more of an intimate show and even had treats (champagne and chocolate) served at intermission.  But the show itself was just as amazing.
