Last night was the best night. Not only did we get to attend a wonderful Disney On Ice show, but we got to go to a fun pre-event and meet some of the ice skaters and Mickey Mouse too!
The boys were so excited to decorate a fun wooden car.
They raced Lightening McQueen cars down the hall. Jayden even won his first race.
And the big surprise was when Mickey & Minnie showed up and we took pictures. Evan was so excited... he could not wait to give Mickey a hug. He almost wouldn't look at me to take the picture cause he wanted to look at Mickey. He was so happy! As he walked away he kept saying Hi Mickey! Bye Mickey and waving.
After that the boys played a little in the Basketball play area until the food was ready for dinner.
The show starts out with Mickey and Minnie setting out to see Worlds of Fantasy, but their car breaks down. They leave to look for some water to fix the car and the Cars crew show up and drive around. The car fixes and Mickey and Minnie drive it away.
Then Ariel shows up looking to meet her prince. They tell the story of The Little Mermaid. It was a brief overview of the show.
Next the story of how Tinkerbell became a fairy and a little about the different types of fairies. Then Tinkerbell almost ruins Spring, but then she saves it.
After intermission the story of Toy Story 3 unfolds as the toys come to life. Jayden loved the green army men.
Evan's favorite was whenever he saw Mickey Mouse, but wondered where Pluto was.
This was a great show and has a little of everything with a princess, fairy, cars, and Toy Story. It would be great for boys and girls. Both of my boys loved it and by the reaction of the little girl behind us girls love it too.
They are in town still all this weekend. Hurry and get your tickets for this awesome show.
