When the Big Bang Theory came out I was not really interested in watching at first. I thought it sounded like a silly show. But hubby had someone tell him how funny it was so he wanted to see for himself. It only took 1 episode and I was hooked. I now love the show. I will watch even the older episodes when ever I get a chance. The cast is hilarious and I love the plot lines. It is a fun and easy to watch show.
Recently the complete eighth season came out on Blu-Ray/DVD. I was excited when I was given the opportunity to share the news with you and receive a copy for myself. So much fun stuff has happened during this season. Leonard is finally engaged to the girl across the hall Penny after countless proposals. But now to see how this new endeavor will impact the ironclad "Roommate Agreement" he is entered into with Sheldon. Then you add Sheldon's uncomfortably close relationship with neurologist Amy Farrah Fowler; Raj's new found ability to talk to and date women; and Howard and Bernadette's solution to an in-house caretaker (their friend Stuart) for the always outspoken Mrs. Wolowitz.
The season begins with Sheldon getting rescued from his soul-searching cross-country train trip. Leonard has minor surgery, but it becomes a major catastrophe for Sheldon. Howard continues his obsession over his mom's relationship with his friend turned freeloader Stuart. Penny has an unexpected result after her technique as a pharmaceutical sales rep. The gang discover ways to re-create proms not attended and holiday celebrations not especially beloved and play a new game based on Raj's dating life. There are 24 episodes in this funny season.
If you or someone you know enjoys this show this would be a great gift. It includes over an hour of bonus features. This came out on September 15, 2015, so own it now!
