FairWind FWPC6L 6.3 Quart Pressure Cooker With 8 Pre-programmed settings

Something that I have been really wanting to do is cook more for my family.  I am not much of a cook, but I do my best.  The biggest problem I have is time.  I don't have the time to really devote to cooking meals.  After picking up the boys from school after work and then helping with homework it is already getting late.  I have a very short period of time to make dinner before bath and bed routine starts.  Cooking with a pressure cooker is really quick and easy.  So I thought I'd try it.  I received the FairWind FWPC6L 6.3 Quart Pressure Cooker to review.

I admit I had not previously used a pressure cooker. I know my mom had a stove top one when I was a kid and my brother in law liked using one when I lived with him. I liked that this one is freestanding and didn't need to be on the stove. There are 8 different preprogrammed multifunctional. You can also choose what kind of texture you want and if you want it to just keep your food warm. The timer works up to 24 hours. So you can set it and let it do the cooking for you. I will admit that being my first time using a pressure cooker I was nervous. I tried to follow the directions, but I will admit they were limited and confusing. Luckily FairWind has recently updated their instruction manual and it is much easier to understand. I used the pressure cooker to make a London Broil recipe that my mom made when I was a kid. The recipe is really easy.  The meat came out perfectly cooked and tender.

1 London Broil
1 can of tomato soup

Place the London Broil in the pressure cooker.  Pour the tomato soup on the London Broil add some water using the tomato soup can.  Set the pressure cooker and let it go.

The FairWind pressure cooker guarantees perfect results every time with a wide variety of functions. It cooks food evenly and seals in the nutrients. The London broil turned out great and my son even loved it. When I was done I was super happy with how easy it was to clean. I remember my brother in law would have such a mess to clean with his before. But this one was super easy to clean. I didn't use the dishwasher, but I like that it is dishwasher safe. It has rust resistant components which is great since my husband likes to leave everything to soak. But there was no need to soak this as it wiped up easily. I can't wait to find more great recipes and use this to cook for my family. I really like how quickly it works. I can cook a nice home cooked meal and not take away too much of my limited time with family
