Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs PLUS Giveaway

I took the kids to Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs for lunch recently.  I had never been before and was excited to try it.  Goodcents has deli fresh subs with house-baked breads made in the restaurant daily. Goodcents has more than 80 locations throughout eight states with 6 of them being in Arizona.  Not only do they have fresh baked breads and pasta, but they slice sandwich meats and cheeses to order.  Recently they added a couple of new items.  They now have a sensible sandwich menu and new rainbow bread.

For those looking for healthy options Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs now offers Sensible sandwiches, six varieties of sandwiches all under 500 calories each. They feature almost a quarter pound of meat on a hearty sprouted grain bun.  The bread is sweetened naturally with honey and comprised of whole grains, such as bran, flax, oats and barley.

The Sensible Sandwiches come in a variety of creative flavor options:

Skinny Italian Club $6.29 (469 calories): roasted turkey, salami, tomato, lettuce, and giardiniera.
Horseradish Beef $6.79 (407 calories): roast beef, cheddar, lettuce, onion, and creamy horseradish.
Turkey Garden Club $6.49 (360 calories): roasted turkey, bell pepper, house-made sour cream cucumber spread, tomato, lettuce, and onion.
Spicy Ham $6.29 (425 calories): ham, capicola, pepper jack, tomato, pickled jalapeños, and spicy mustard.
Turkey & Cranberry $6.49 (379 calories): roasted turkey, cranberry relish, lettuce, onion, and olive oil mayo.
Chicago-Style Beef $6.79 (337 calories): roast beef, giardineria, tomato, lettuce, and olive oil mayo.

Recently they also introduced brightly colored rainbow bread for the kids sandwiches.  The rainbow bread is a brand new recipe developed by Goodcents, it features brightly colored blue, green, purple, andpink bread in a bun that tastes like its traditional white bread.  The sandwiches are served as part of a kids meal and comes in any of three options: Turkey and Cheese, Ham and Cheese, and Peanut Butter and Jelly.

When I took the boys Jayden was excited to try the new rainbow bread.  He had Turkey and Cheese.  The color really is vibrant.  Jayden really liked it.  He said it tasted like regular bread.  He really like the sandwich and has since asked to go back again.  Evan tried the ham and cheese on wheat. He also loved his sandwich.  Evan is my picky eater and when it comes to sandwiches he eats very little.  But he ate the whole thing. I picked the turkey and cheese on this roasted garlic bread.  It was so good. The bread, meat and cheese were all fresh along with all the vegetables.  Even Madi loved it all.  She was able to try everyone's sandwiches.  This was a meal that all of my kids enjoyed and ate all of it.  We will for sure be going there again. And they both loved the cookie too.  The picked the chocolate chocolate chip cookie.
