Holiday Gift: My First Lab WOW Scope and Smartphone Inspector Plus #Giveaway

My First Lab

Science is a subject that is always fun. Jayden comes home from school always excited about all the things they are learning at school in science. He can't wait for the next lesson and often wants to recreate the experiments at home.  So getting a professional grade microscope at a budget-friendly price is a wonderful investment.  With Jayden so into science now and Evan getting interested it will be a great family item for sure.  I received the My First Lab WOW Scope and the Smartphone Inspector to review.

My First Lab WOW Scope is the best Microscope for 3D objects.  It comes with interchangeable pairs of 10X and 25X eyepieces that allow for 20X and 50X total magnification. Kids can view 3D objects up close. It has a top and a bottom duo-LED Illumination that can be used for solid objects or prepared slides. It also includes 5 specimens with a slide carrying case and experiment guide. The scope is really easy to use and lightweight. I pulled it out for my boys to try. Jayden took a look and was immediately hooked. He couldn't wait to look at more and more things. After checking out all 5 of the specimens that are included he began searching for more items to explore. He barely gave Evan opportunity to try too. My boys were able to easily adjust the magnification and focus the scope on their own. They went outside and found grass, leaves, dog food, a rock, and more to magnify. They discovered so many things they didn't realize. They decided that the dog food looked like it was made of jelly or something. The fly's wing was not shaped the way they expected. I loved watching them get excited about all they saw and discovered as they used the microscope.

In addition to the Microscope I received the Smartphone Inspector. This is an adaptable add-on for any smartphone or tablet with a built-in camera. It becomes a compact, lightweight, high-resolution digital microscope for on-the go. The Smartphone Inspector features 60X magnification and gives incredible clarity. It even includes a carrying pouch.  I tried it on an old cell phone and on my son's kindle.  It clipped on easily.  The light was easy to use and adjust.  Still working on how to see better, but overall a nice item for a stocking stuffer.

With the holidays coming up My First Lab has so many great products help cross off those you are shopping for faster. I highly recommend the two products I received. I can't say enough about the My First Lab WOW Scope. I really like how it comes with some specimens also. It is so simple for both of my boys to use also. The Smartphone Inspector is a perfect stocking stuffer for the science junkie on your list or really just about anyone would find it fun and interesting.

Win it:  One (1) Arizona Mama reader will win their choice of My First Lab Duo-Scope Starter Kit, Duo-Scope, WOW Scope, or Smartphone Inspector.

  1. The best thing about science is it gives you the ability to creatively discover new things and understand old things. It lets you have the ability to dig deep into items and learn how they are made up.
