Kids HearMuffs Kids Hearing Protection

As a family we enjoy going to lots of events. I love to take my children to experience lots of things. We regularly attend Disney On Ice, Monster Jam, Globetrotters, and more. It does become difficult when we attend these events for my son Evan.  He has very sensitive ears. The loudness at many events are very difficult for him.  While Monster Jam is expected to be loud and require headphones, even going to Disney On Ice is difficult. We have used adult size headphones from the tool store until now. Recently I was introduced to Kids HearMuffs.

HearMuffs are designed to develop with the child.  They are kid-size headphones with an adjustable headband that can fit a wide range of children's head sizes. The smooth foam gives a comfortable fit. There are a variety of colors in child-safe materials. The colors are blue, green, orange, red and white. They can protect young ears and muffle noise. It is common among children to have sensory sensitivity involving noises, especially with those on the autism spectrum. When a child is oversensitive to loud sounds it can limit a family on where they can go and the types of activities they participate in. HearMuffs are not created for sensory disorder, but those who have tried HearMuffs have been very grateful. HearMuffs come in a colorful protection-only model and the HearMuffs Trio with advanced features. The trio has a touch-to-talk button that lets in safe sounds for conversations and the ability to use as traditional headphones.

I have first hand experience with limiting or making event difficult due to my child's sensitive ears. We have been out to events without ear protection and he will cover his ears and press his head into my side. It makes enjoying an event very difficult. So far we have not been able to use the HearMuffs at an event, but we have tried them out at home. We received the HearMuff Trio. Evan tried the HearMuffs while watching videos on his tablet and they work great.  He says they are very comfortable and he likes them. We also tried the talk-to-speak feature. It really worked in that he heard me talking to him and it lowered the background noise of the television. My oldest son tried them too and was jealous he didn't get a pair too. I know these are going to be put to lots of use with my son.  I really like that the headphone feature requires no power or batteries.
